[11] A Student & her Ramen -part 3-

"Man, that was some good ramen," we all lay back in our seats and huff from our fullness.

Kakashi's gaze wanders over and meets me eyes. We stare at each other for a good few moments.

"Y/N," he begins. "You have some rice on your face."

He leans in closely and wipes the rice from my cheeks and eats it.

My face turns bright red. GAH! What's wrong with me! It didn't bother me when he did it the first time we ate ramen. This feels like an exact repeat of that time.

"Sakura, you have something on your face too," Kakashi sighs and then looks back at me.

"I'm surprised you're on time today Kakashi-sensei," Naruto starts.

"What do you mean?" Kakashi, almost sarcastically, responds.

"Everytime we go out for ramen, you're always late hahah. Today must be special heh."

Kakashi just raises his eyebrows and lets out an inner sigh before frowning again.

"Well alright! I'm gonna head home now, thanks for the meal Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto exclaims and attempts to run away.

"Do you really believe that I'm going to pay for your 6 bowls of ramen with a side of rice. I think not. You can pay yourselves."

Everyone sighs and begins rummaging their pockets for money. Sakura and Naruto pay and leave after saying goodbye. Sasuke also pays but waits outside for me so we can walk home.

"I hope you enjoyed your meal Y/N," Kakashi chimes.

"You know I did hahah, you introduced me to ramen - specifically the roasted pork bowl with extra pork and rice."

"Glad to hear. Listen, I'll walk you home," Kakashi offers as he pays for our meal.

"That's quite alright Hatake-sensei. Sasuke is walking me home," I reply.

"Why's that?" He asks, looking a lot tenser than before.

"We're neighbors so we always walk together," I laugh.

"I'm still going to walk you home anyway," Kakashi responds with a slightly aggravated tone.

"I mean, if you insist."

I go outside and meet Sasuke, waiting for Kakashi to finish paying.

"That was quick," Sasuke says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Paying."

"Ohhh, hahah I didn't pay. Hatake-sensei did."

"Kakashi did?" Sasuke began getting a little angry.

"Calm down, it's no biggie. He's pays for my ramen all the time."

"Is there something going on here?" Kakashi interrupts.

"No nothing, should we get going now?" I nervously rub the back of my neck and begin walking home.

I could sense Sasuke glaring at Kakashi and I throughout the whole walk, and honestly, it was kind of scary and made the situation 1000 times more awkward.

We finally arrive home. I thank Kakashi for the food again and the walk.

"It's no problem Y/N," Kakashi awkwardly rubs the back of his neck.

We say our goodbyes and I approach Sasuke.

"Hey...do you want to sleepov-"

"No," Sasuke bluntly replies.

Who's got his nipples in a twist? I sigh and go to bed, tomorrow is another day. Another opportunity for problems.
