"What are you doing Y/N?" Kakashi asks a little flustered.
I unlock the door to my house and turn the lights on, letting Kakashi in.
"Wait here! Sit down!" I shout.
I throw my bags God knows where in the living room, and boil some water in the kitchen. I take out two items from the bag and open each of them, pouring water into each. I bring them into the living room and set them on the table.
"I know it's not as good as fresh ramen...but this is close enough. But while it cooks, let me sort your nose out," I say, taking out the first aid kit I bought.
I grab the disinfectant and pour some onto a cotton swab. I hold Kakashi's jaw in place with one hand and move closer to his. I gently swipe across the cut across his nose, but he flinched from the stinging pain.
"Sorry..."
I lean a lot closer to him to make sure I get every crevice. My knee is pushing into his at this point. Keep yourself together Y/N! Don't take this out of context!
I hook the index finger of my other hand under Kakashi's mask and attempt to pull it down a little. Will I finally be able to see his face?
...
...
...
...
...
Abruptly, Kakashi grabs my wrist quickly making me flinch a little. His grip was extremely tight. But not enough to hurt me.
"Don't be a cheeky girl," Kakashi says huskily.
His sudden change in tone of voice sent shivers down my spine. We stared into each others eyes for a while.
NO! HE'LL THINK I'M WEIRD!
I jump up, blushing madly, and pack up the first aid kit frantically. But i end up dropping things and misplacing them from my nervousness. I ended shoving it all in and setting it aside.
Compose yourself Y/N.
I sit on the other side of the table, opposite Kakashi.
"Now you have a choice: Spicy ramen, or pork ramen."
"Pork ramen," he says confidently.
I slide the pork ramen towards him, snap my chopsticks and dig into my meal.
God it was so spicy fufufufufu.
We ate in silence until Kakashi spoke up.
"Can I try some of your ramen Y/N?" He chimes.
"Of course."
He sticks his used chopsticks into my ramen. As in...his chopsticks, that have been his mouth, his dNa, in my ramen.
*fangirls internally*
"God, that is spicy oof," Kakashi coughs.
I hum in response not knowing how to reply.
"Y/N?"
"Yes Hatake-sensei...
I could feel the sudden tension between the two of us.
"Why do you insist on calling me 'Hatake-sensei'?"
"I guess it's just...formality? I figured that since you're my Sensei, a respectable Shinobi, I should take extra formalities with you - especially in consideration of my past."
There was a moment of silence.
"You're playing a dangerous game Y/N," Kakashi's raspy voice kicks in again.
The tension tensed up even more. He's making me really nervous, of all the people to have a crush on, its got to be this man.
"W-hat's that suppose to mean?" My voice cracks giving away my nervous state - as if the blush spread across my face didn't do that already.
"If you keep calling me that, I'm going to lose my mind..."
"Is uh..."
Say it Y/N! Say it!
"Is 'Kakashi-sensei' alright then?" That felt so weird saying out loud.
"Drop the..'sensei', I can't deal with that either right now..."
