Chapter 6

It was after school and Michael has been waiting in the school parking lot to pick Jeremy up from play rehearsal for almost 20 minutes. He became fed up with waiting and marched through the halls to the auditorium when he heard laughter followed by yelling further down the hall. Just then Jake Dillinger came sprinting around the corner and just barely avoided running into Michael screaming back to him, "My bad!" Michael turned to watch him barrel through the school and as he turned the corner he suddenly got slammed into the floor by some force. He had something on him, he opened his eyes and saw a head of light brown hair with a stripe of red in it.

Rich Goranski. Very popular. Big bully. The bane of Jeremy's life. The guy who told Jeremy about the S.Q.U.I.P nonsense. Although, after everything Jeremy's told him about Rich, he's never actually gotten to know him for himself. Make no mistake Michael's definitely gay, though its no Jeremy, having a boy lay on top of him wasn't the worst thing to happen to him.

After a few seconds of recovering from the fall, Rich lifted his head up a couple inches away from Michael's face. "Ugh, what the fuuuck-" Rich looked up into the eyes of that Antisocial Headphones kid that's always clinging to Jeremy. Rich's body was laying between this kids legs and their faces were so close. They looked at each other for a second and Michael awkwardly smiled.

"woah," Rich thought, "wait what?"

Rich said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to drop in so unexpectedly..."

Michael raised his eyebrow, 'Did he just...?'

He chuckled, "What?"

Rich watched as Michael looked down at him while laughing and almost blacked out when he flashed him with the most beautiful, genuine smile he's ever seen. Rich could feel his face getting warmer, was he blushing? No.

Impossible.

At Antisocial Headphones kid? Absolutely not. This kid might have a pride patch on his hoodie, but Rich was definitely not gay.

The kid cleared his throat, pulling Rich from his thoughts, "umm Rich? are you gonna get up anytime soon?"

'FUCK!! I've been on him for like 3 years now SHIT!'

"Oh right, sorry...." He crawled to his feet, "wait, how do you know my name?"

Michael sat up, "One, you're one of the most popular kids in school, and two, Jeremy's mentioned you a couple times."

'Shit he probably hates me because of Jeremy, Wait. why do I care what he thinks of me?'

"Oh" he says.

"Speaking of, I need to go find him," he looked at the auditorium.

"Oh yeah of course, go do that, I gotta catch up with Jake anyway. OK BYE!" Rich spun around and sped walked down the hall.

'Ay Squip what the FUCK just happened?' he asked in his head.

'YO you in there?! TALK TO ME!'

Jeremy and Christine walked out of the auditorium and found Michael in the same spot Rich left him in.

"Dude, why are you sitting on the floor in the middle of the hallway?" Jeremy asked.

Very hesitantly he replied, "I just got topped by Rich Goranski."

"YOU WHAT?!"

Christine stood there wide eyed, not quite understanding what he meant by 'topped'.

"Relax, Jere, not literally, but yeah that's literally what happened."

Christine checked her phone, "Jeremy I gotta go, my dad is waiting in the parking lot for me, see you later," she turned to go.
