Chp 6- On my way

Its been 4 years since ive been living with Puuya.  I just turned 19 and im going to admit it was been rough but he was like a father to me. I was enrolled in high school but I didn't make any progress so I dropped out and found a job. The people in school didnt know what else to do besides make fun of me which wasnt so great with me. I began wearing contacts. Puuya bought them for me and they were durable so if my eyes ever leaked they wouldnt get destroyed.

"I guess this is a farewell (Y/N)"

"I guess so"

Thats right, I am leaving the city I was currently in.  Leaving the home I was happily brought and accepted into. Shit im really going to miss this place.

"Thank so much for everything Puuya. I really do appreciate every little thing you did for me. I wish I could stay longer but I really want to do this. You will forever be the parent I never had, thank you"

"Come here (Y/N)" he said as he extended his arms for a hug and I gladly took it. We stood like this for a good moment enjoying each others presence one last time.

"I know you'll do great things (Y/N), you really changed me we'll keep in touch and if you ever need somewhere to stay my house is always open for you"

You couldnt resist and tear up. God damn it old man last thing I want to do is cry

"Oh before you go I would like you to have this"

It was a black pendulum chain.

"Thank you, I got to get going now...goodbye Puuya!"

"Farewell (Y/N)" he said with a smile

I turned around and started walking until he was no longer in sight.

I haven't been out in what seems forever because literally i've never left my house besides for work. After what seemed hours of walking I finally reached the train station. When the train came I was on my way to YorkNew City. I hope to be able to finally be stable somewhere. I heard it's a pretty nice place but who knows what the future will hold in store for me. It was going to be a long drive so I brought out my sewing kit and started working on a mask to wear.

You were so focused on your mask that you didnt even notice who sat in the same compartment with you.

"I don't mean to interupt but did you make that?"

You finally looked up to see a boy with blonde hair and green-ish eyes

"Oh um yes I did, why does it look bad?"

"What!? no not at all! it looks pretty good actually you have great sewing skills"

"Oh thank you erm-"

"Oh my bad, my name is Shalnark"

"Thank you Shalnark my name is (Y/N)"

He nodded with a smile on his face. We sat in a comfortable silence until he spoke up.

"You have very nice eyes are you wearing contacts?"

I've never received a compliment about my eyes it was always the opposite. But I mean I am wearing contacts designed just for me but they didnt change my eye color.

"No they're my natural eyes"

"Thats really cool"

"Thank you, where are you headed shal is it ok if I call you that?"

"Yea thats fine, You see there is this thing called the hunter exam and im planning to take it have you heard about it?"

"Yes I have heard of it and I was thinking of taking it myself but I wasn't sure I had what it took to become a hunter but im sure you'll do great"

"Wow thank you but thats a bummer I think you would do just fine if you took it"

After a few more minutes of talking he fell asleep and I was close to sleeping but oneim on a train, who knows when it'll stop at my destination since ive never been on a train and two I was wearing contacts, I couldnt sleep with them on.
