Kurt Hummel had through life had a lot of different experiences.

Some were good, some were... Less good.

When his mother died, may she rest in peace, he'd cried himself hoarse for days on end, hating every moment, never thinking he'd become himself again.

Getting excited to start high school.

Realising high school sucked.

Getting bullied to the brink of suicide.

Joining glee club, and finally admitting to the world who he truly was.

Once again getting bullied, this time so badly that he fled to a private school, where he met the love of his life.

Blaine Devon Anderson.

From tip to toe, Kurt was head over heels in love with him, already from their first meeting on the staircase.

Maybe that was why it killed him so much, when Blaine, years later, told him he was seeing someone.

He'd thought the worst had happened - Blaine had hooked up with Sebastian Smythe, who'd made Kurt feel worthless, and undeserving of his boyfriend.

But, no. It was much, much, much worse.

Dave Karofsky.

Dave Karofsky!

The same guy, who'd bullied Kurt horribly, who'd made his life a living hell during high school. And sure, they'd made up, become some sort of weird friends, but that did not mean Kurt was okay with Blaine dating Karofsky!

What made it worse was that he had embarrassed himself so badly, saying he wanted to win Blaine back. - and then Karofsky had made an appearance, making Kurt feel three inches small.

He'd fled to the bathroom, then, sinking to the floor, tears streaming down his cheeks.

Meanwhile, he hadn't noticed that someone was watching.

When Sebastian had seen Kurt and Blaine enter the bar, he'd half had the mind to go interrupt, just have some fun. But he soon realised something was wrong. Horribly wrong.

Kurt and Blaine were barely touching each other, and they were sitting oddly far apart.

This was when Sebastian decided to just observe and see what happened, all the while sipping his drink.

As the evening went on, it became clearer and clearer that something was wrong, and at one point some dude came over, looking all lovey-dovey with Blaine. Ah. Now Kurt's obvious discomfort suddenly made sense.

When Kurt got up, running off, Sebastian waited fashionably, before following him into the mens bathroom, wanting to torment him a bit.

When he entered, Kurt was still hidden in a bathroom stall, crying in a hyperventilating way.

For some reason, Sebastian felt slightly sorry for the boy, something he never, ever thought he would.

"Kurt?" He called, voice soft.

Kurt nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Sebastians voice - a voice usually so full of snark - softly calling his name. Maybe if he just stayed quiet, he'd go away. God let him go away.

But he didn't, which was proved when Kurt finally pulled himself together, to stand, and go out.

"Aren't you a sight? You look awful, Hummel." Sebastian commented, from where he was leaning against the wall.

"What do you want, Smythe?" Kurt asked.

Sebastian looked at him, head tilting to the side as he studied the boy. His eyes were puffy, cheeks tearstained.

"I saw what Blaine did." Sebastian said, crossing his arms. "You finally managed to drive him away, didn't you? About time too, you never were a good couple."

Kurt sent a killer glare Sebastians way, annoyed at what he saw as an insult.

"Gee, thanks." He muttered, turning around to leave.

Sebastian arched his eyebrow.

"What's with the sarcasm?"

Kurt whipped around to face him. "You've spent an awful lot of time making it clear to me that I don't deserve Blaine, that he's too good for me, and now you're rubbing it in my face! I messed up, and he left me!"

He cried out, annoyed.

Sebastian took a step closer to Kurt.

"Hey, calm down princess. I'm not trying to annoy you." He said, looking into Kurt's eyes, which held both sorrow and confusion.

"I came out here to torment you a bit, yes, but you look in a right state... Let me make it up to you. Coffee, tomorrow?"

Kurt scoffed.

"Why on earth would I ever go drink coffee with you?"

Sebastian shrugged.

"Because you're curious as to why I asked you. And I'll give you the opportunity to vent about what went wrong in you and Blaine's relationship. Tomorrow, Lima Bean, 11.30, sharp."

Before Kurt could reply, Sebastian had left.

Kurt looked at his reflection. What just happened?
