Sebastian opened the car door for Kurt, who thanked him by rolling his eyes. "I have two functioning hands, I don't need you to open doors for me."

Sebastian chuckled dryly, "too bad, I want to. And I'm going to." He said, closing the door almost before Kurt had gotten both feet inside the car, before heading to the other side, getting in.

"I still don't know why I agreed to letting you pick me up. I barely survived last time you drove." Kurt said, tightening his seatbelt as Sebastian started the car.
"I don't drive that badly." He frowned.

"No, I never said badly, I said like a crazy person. How you have a license is beyond me. You don't keep the speed limit."

Sebastian chuckled and pulled out onto the road, shooting a glance at Kurt, who was holding onto the door for dear life, even though he wasn't really going fast - yet. He turned his eyes back to the road, amused.

"So, you ran into Blaine and Karofsky?"
Sebastian asked conversationally as he drove.

Kurt looked at him. It wasn't exactly something he wanted to talk about, obviously Sebastian didn't care. And in all honesty, Kurt would rather speak about this, than what Sebastian had written on his message. Speaking about stuff like dating, was just awkward. Especially when Kurt had no idea how he was feeling. He liked Sebastian, and it was easy talking to him. But he was still hung up on Blaine - wasn't he? That feeling of hurt still flared up every time he saw him.

"I did." Kurt said, still holding onto the door.

" I'm sorry." Sebastian sounded sincere, and Kurt was confused as to when Sebastian had begun apologising.

"Who are you, and what have you done with the rude, annoying, Sebastian Smythe I knew?"
Kurt asked.

"I grew up, I guess. I know I was a jerk in high school. But I've come a long way since then. I changed after high school. Real life was... a wake up call, I guess."

They'd often talked about NYADA, and about Sebastian's Art studies too. - it was away of avoiding their past, and how they didn't like each other.

"Kurt, look.." Sebastian sighed, pulling over, parking the car even though they were far from the Lima bean still.
He turned to look at him.
"Are you going to kill me?" Kurt raised an suspicious eyebrow.
"Yeah, I am." Sebastian deadpanned, before shaking his head with a nervous laugh.
"About what I wrote.. I meant it. I wouldn't drive from Westerville to Lima nearly every day, just to meet with someone I didn't care about." Sebastian ran a hand through his hair
"I know I was a jerk to you, in high school. And no apology could fix what I did. But.. I'm on your side in everything going on with you and Blaine. I don't care who said or did what, but I'm with you in this. Wether you want me to be or not." He paused.
"And I know that you're hung up on him, it's obvious." Kurt tried to cut in, but Sebastian held up a hand, continuing. "It's really obvious. And I realise that if he left Karofsky, you'd go back to him. Without question, because you still love him. But I'm.. putting it out there; now. I like you, Kurt, and if it was different, I'd make a move, I'd want you to be mine. But I'll be your friend. Because that's what you need, and you deserve a real friend." Sebastian looked away, not wanting to look at Kurt. He'd basically poured his heart out, and chances were now that Kurt would laugh, or leave.

he had not actually expected Kurts reaction to be like it was.

Slowly, clumsily, Kurt un clicked his seatbelt, shifting, and Sebastian knew it was now he was getting out. But Kurt didn't. He leant over, and much to both his and Sebastian's surprise, his lips brushed over Sebastian's cheek, making the ex-warbler start a bit, before looking at Kurt. Blue eyes met green, both confused and unsure, their lips met for the first time.
