*Alex*
The night before they went back to school was awkward, walking into the beauty department of Macy's and not knowing what to grab. Sam wasn't a simple girl by any means, but she also wasn't one of those whores who wear the bright red lipstick and eye liner and eye shadow so heaving you could paint an entire house with it. Luckily a salesperson came and saved him from grabbing the wrong things.
"Young man do you need help? Unless the make up is for you, I really don't think you know what you're doing. Now, is this for a girlfriend? Your mother? Or just a friend?" The fake salesperson said. As she walked up he could see she was one of those girls he was describing. Obviously dyed blonde hair, bright red lipstick, blue eye liner, and pink eye shadow, obviously she hadn't looked in front of the mirror this morning, but maybe she'll know better than to help him pick that our for Sam.
"Ma'am I do actually need help, a friend of mine just moved in with us and she needs all new make up, I wanted to see if you could help, I'm a little lost here, but I don't want to buy her really dark and heavy stuff, just enough to highlight her face, and draw your eye to hers, you know?" He spoke with so much conviction the lady had tears in her eyes, she has never seen someone care as much as he does for his friend, she must really be someone special.
She led him to the mascara and the eye shadows showing him what will be the best for how he described her, she showed him the lip gloss and decided to let him figure that out on his own. Alex roamed the isles looking at everything in sight, not even bother to look at the price, he grabbed everything he felt would suit her, then he bought her make up for dates, and concerts, and by then he was actually having fun looking around at make up for her.
Alex finally ran out of make up that he felt would suit Sam, and for some reason he didn't feel like he was done, he walked through the perfume and lotion sections finding stuff that he thought she would like, and that he and Luke wouldn't get tired of. After all, they will be around her twenty four seven. Especially Luke, he'd bet his last dollar they'd get together soon.
Finally Alex was looking at the last thing he was going to buy Sam, it was a locket, he wanted to put a picture of him and Luke in there, so she'd know that they are always there for her. He found the perfect silver one, but he also needed to buy her a ring, since she doesn't have any silver ones. He found the perfect one. It was a silver band with blue gems and a diamond in the middle, nothing too complex but also nothing too simple.
He got home and hid them all in her closet taking note of the clothes Luke had bought her. They seemed like her, he only hoped she like it. His phone started ringing in his pocket and strangely saw Jack's name pop up, he really didn't feel like messing around with him, but he had no choice, he knew that he needed to tell Jack to fuck off, that he's hurt Sam enough.
"Jack you need to fuck off, we are not your friends anymore. Sam is ours, you have to stop hurting you I don't know why you think you have the right to hurt her like you did, but honestly it's disgusting and it needs to stop, once everyone sees the real her and not the lies you made up about her they'll defend her too. Have fun with Hannah, she's so fake and you don't even notice, I'm honestly disgusted that I even was your friend, and that I didn't notice how bad we were hurting her, if you actually look at her, you'll see the tears in her eyes, YOU"LL NOTICE HER FUCKING TRACING THE CUTS THAT WE CAUSED! So don't you dare ever try talking to me again, I'm done with you.
He hung up, and with a heavy sigh he put on his shoes, he needed to run off all this stress.
