Hospital Rush

I quickly stood up from my sitting position and without a moment to waste, rushed towards Totsuhara Hospital

"Kousei! Where are you going?" Seto Hiroko screamed at me

"To Kaori!" I screamed back at her

I saw her shouting back again but I didn't hear it this time so I just didn't put it into mind

I ignored everyone in the hall including my two competitors Aiza Takeshi and Emi Igawa

All my mind was thinking that time was about her

I can actually see her again and talk to her. I don't care if I'm just Friend A as long as I get to see her alive and well.

I thought to myself as my heart was in an upbeat

I was very enthusiastic and happy that day

I ran through Towa Hall's corridors and outside the main door. All of the audience's attention was all on me

They were wondering why I was in such in a hurry to exit the hall. I didn't even wait for the results to be announced

I finally exited the hall. I was looking for a vehicle to ride on but I can see none so I just ran

I ran as fast and as far as my legs can take me. I didn't feel tired one bit. I guess this is just the power of my love fueling me

Along the way I passed through some people who know me. They looked at me with confused faces as I ran frantically with sweat pouring down from me to my face.

I ignored them

I looked at the sky and noticed that the sky was unusually crystal clear and the dark clouds that once hovered above us receded. It's as if it's reflecting the mixed feelings I feel right now.

I continued to run for minutes until Totsuhara Hospital was finally within my view. I feel so glad.

I reached the front door breathless. I slammed it open and went to the front desk to ask for Kaori

"I-I w-aant to see-"

"Give me a second"

"It's okay"

I was panting real hard that I wasn't able to finish my sentence. I rested for a few seconds unti I finally calned myself down

"I want to see Miyazono Kaori" I asked her

"Miyazono Kaori is currently in her room resting and recuperating" she replied to me

I then left her and took the stairs to reach Kaori's room which is in third floor. I didn't rake the elevator as it was occupied and I really want to see her already

After a while, I finally reached the third floor. Those flight of stairs actually tired me. I really hate stairs

I walked through the hallway until I reached the door to Kaori's room. I knocked on it before I entered

"Who is it?" She asked me unknowingly

"It's me Kousei" I told her

She didn't reply so I just entered. I found her staring into the window

I still can't believe that I can see her again. Miracles really do happen

She looked at me with a happy grun painted on her face. She looks so angelic

"Hey Kousei, what are you doing there staring at me you pervert?!"

She threw a stuff toy to me which hit me head on making my glasses almost fall to the ground
