Big Three

Sams POV. No mist
"I hate the big three." Said my friend, Ken.

"They are too nice and popular. And they don't even realize it! We, the jocks should be the popular ones."

"Yeah!" Said a kid named Brandon. "They stand up to us when we are having fun with people!"

I guess I should back up a little bit. Me and my friends are the jocks of Long Island high. We are also the bullies. Although I don't really feel right about it. I mean we make people cry almost every day. I'm just scared that if I say something I will get bullied myself.

The big three are three cousins, Thalia, Percy and Nico. They are nice to everyone, although Thalia won't hesitate to beat you up if you insult her, or if you ask her out. (Ken learned that the hard way.) they keep to themselves mostly but they have weird nicknames for each other. They also have a lot of inside jokes. For example Thalia and Percy will burst out laughing every time one of them, scratch that anyone, says damn. I'm not sure why. I was broken out of my thoughts when ken says, "I have an idea."

"Idea for what?" Brandon asks.

"To be popular again! Duh!" He answers like it should be obvious. "We should pretend to be those demigod people! Their supposed to be like real powerful and stuff. We learned about them in mythology class."

"Yeah!" I said. "That would be great. But what if someone figured out that we aren't?"

"You worry too much! We will be fine. Everyone will be bowing down to us!" Said Ken.

"Yeah!" Agreed Brandon "Ken you should be a son of Apollo! Sam you can be a son of Hermes! I will be a child of Zeus of course! We will rule this school once again!"

"Ok! C'mon we need to get to class. Ms. Lewis will get mad if we are late." I said.

After class Ken and Brandon decided that they were going to pick on their favorite target. A nerdy boy named Ethan. I'm not sure why they started bullying him. As far as I know he never did anything to them.

Regardless Brandon pinned him up against some lockers. Saying hurtful things. That's when the big three came along. As soon as they noticed what was going on they immediately put a stop to it. Percy and Thalia pushes Brandon and Ken away while Nico brought Ethan over to his friends.

"What was that for?" Asked Brandon. "We were only having a little fun!"

"Well your fun was hurting Ethan." Said Percy

"I'll have you know Jackson that we are demigods." Said Brandon. "Kens father is Apollo, Sams dad is Hermes, and mine is Zeus! Bow down to us mortals!" The three of us stood shoulder to shoulder as we watched all the kids in the hallway bow to us, except Percy, Nico, and Thalia. They burst out laughing! Ken and Brandon looked about as confused as I felt.

Nico was the first one to come out of it.

"You guys? Demigods? No way!"

"How can you prove it!" Asked ken confidently.
As quickly as you could say 'wow!' They all had weapons drawn Percy had a glowing bronze sword, Nico had a black sword. Thalia had a shield that wanted to make me run for my life a spear  and a bow and quiver in her back. That girl had a lot of weapons.

"We are demigods." Said Percy. "And trust me it's not a life you want." They begin to walk away when a girl in the gathered crowd yelled "Who's your parent?" They turned around

"Poseidon"

"Zeus"

"Hades" then kept walking.

It's been weeks and they haven't been back to school.
