The Wyvern flies past the hijacked ship, as Ruby and Shadow look on, with the surrounding Griffons roaming the skies. A Griffon lands on the airship, but Ruby easily cuts it down with Crescent Rose, causing to disintegrate into black particles. But suddenly, she hears a snap, turning to see , now changing into her standard attire with a wave of light washing over her from bottom to top, as she winks after taking a picture of Ruby, sending it to a certain crime lord with the following text:
Neo:"Guess Who?"
Roman: Oh, you can not be serious!
Having realized his old foe is interfering yet again, the wanted criminal quickly picks up and walks up to the top of the airship. Shadow prepares for battle as Ruby sets up her scythe to shoot Neo.
Shadow: Let's do this Ruby!

The scene soon changes to Mercury fighting a weakened Faith, who's managing to hold his own. Faith backs up to a wall as his aura flickers a white color to heal his wound.
Faith: I'll never understand...why does Cinder want this?
Mercury: *smirks* It's what she wanted from the start, and she wants the world to give her power.
Faith: As much as I want to use my mother's words of advice, you and Cinder can't be redeemed!
Mercury:*anger* I don't need redemption!
Mercury charges forward and jumps up to strike Faith, to which Faith prepares to block. Suddenly, Mercury's leg is caught by chains as he's pulled into the ground, as Faith lowers his guard to see who it is. Emerald stands their with her weapons having their chains holding onto Mercury's leg.
Emerald: I'm done being your friend Mercury. I won't let you hurt my actual friends!
Mercury: Emerald...You dare oppose her power?! You will die with them as well!
Emerald: You live to become the villain...or die as a hero...and I will rather die a hero than live to see the world Cinder sees.
Emerald then picks up Mercury and throws him to the ground behind her, making Mercury unconscious as she helps Faith up.
Faith: You really did have a change of heart..didn't you?
Emerald: I...I couldn't have done it without you're help. You showed me that through compassion and redemption, I can be a better person in general.
Faith smiles from Emeralds change, before a white ball of light circles the two before it zooms away to Beacon Academy.
Emerald: What was that?
Faith: I'm not sure, but I think we should follow it.
As Faith says this, his hair grows rapidly, along with some silver sparkles in his hair. Along with this, his wound heals more rapidly as he runs to follow the white ball.
