[ Komine ] Kody x Lumine

Part 5

While we were waiting on the car for Aiden, I watched Kody play on his DS ( or whatever the fuck it's called... I dunno )

" Alrighty! Let's go! " Aiden plopped down into the driver's side seat.

Meanwhile I sat on my legs next to Kody. I slowly reached over, stroking Kody's hair. It was surprisingly soft and silky to the touch.

" Hairy baby.. " I continued stroking his hair until he slowly shut his DS and looked over at me.

" Hairy ba- " I could barely finish my sentence before breaking down in a fit of giggles.

" What the hell, Lumine.. " He glared at me. I smiled innocently.

" Sir? " I put out my hand for him to shake in a stiff and ' proper ' position.

" I have so many questions about you.. " He mumbled and sat back, ignoring my hand that awaited his.

I sighed and decided to go back to stroking his hair. He glared at me before slapping my hand.

" Stop it! " He hissed. I put up my pinky, shaking my head while laughing.

" Okay, okay.. Pinky promise I won't do it again! " I said, lifting my head and smiling brightly.

His cheeks became a light pink color as he sighed and entwined our pinky fingers together.

" Whatever.. " He finally laid back. We both froze as we heard very soft laughing that was neither mine or Kody's.

" I'm glad to see you two getting along so well. " Aiden chuckled. Kody looked away and I hid by blushing face. Aiden chuckled again.

" Anyway, we're here! " Aiden unlocked the car doors. Kody groaned and got out. I followed close behind him.

I saw we were at the mall. As we entered through the glass doors, I immediately got the aroma of fried chicken from the nearby food court.

The next thing I noticed was the crazy amount of people running in and out of stores. I tried to focus on the floor but I could still hear their obnoxious voices, chattering away.

Kody noted this and took my hand in his, holding it reassuringly.

" You'll be okay. You are not alone here. " Kody whispered. I gulped and nodded.

Two girls, probably around the age of Kody and I, we're also walking hand in hand. The girl on the right, who had red, shoulder length hair, noticed my nervous expression and have me a thumbs up with her free hand, grinning widely before turning back to what I assumed was her girlfriend.

I groaned and squeezed Kody's hand a little bit tighter. Soon, we arrived at a small shop that contained a few women and plenty of earrings in boxes and many displayed in glass.

I immediately started looking all around, taking in how this beautiful the place was. They're were large paintings of cherry blossom trees, flowing rivers surrounded by soft, green grass, and many other nature filled paintings.

" Look at how cute this place is! " I said, tugging on Kody's short sleeve as I pointed out some small but noticeable things decorations, never letting go of Kody's hand. He raised a brow as his eyes followed my finger, nodding and occasionally commenting on whatever I was fangirling about.

" Alright, Lumine! Sit down! " Aiden said and gestured towards a chair that was right next to where Kody was standing. I let my hand slip away from Kody's to sit down.

I hummed excitedly the whole time getting my ears pierced. Finally, I was able to pick which earrings I wanted.

I laughed at myself as I pointed to an open box that held earrings in the shape of a clear and closed plastic bag filled with water and a single goldfish, looking almost exactly like something you would win out of one of those carnival games at the fair. ( Shown in the picture below )
