" Hey. What were you doing in my room? " I slowly turned around, doing my be not to sound like a nervous chipmunk.

" W-Well.. Uh.. I wanted to ask you what you wanted for breakfast.. " He got up, pushing past me gently.

" I dunno. " He walked out of the room, disappearing around a corner. I trudged back to my room, rearranging where the earrings were. I placed them all in my cabinet drawer, which was large, so they had plenty of space.

I then sighed and walked downstairs, where Aiden was already cooking.

" If you burn the house down and you get arrested for burning everyone in the building, it's not my fault. " Kody said as he stopped walking to stand next to his dad.

" No worries! " He replied. Well, he most definitely lied. Everything was burnt, even the biscuits.

Kody sighed in annoyance at Aiden's attempts to cook breakfast and dragged me off to his room, flicking on the light as he came in.

" Here. " Kody said, shoving a small box into my hand meanwhile looking everywhere but me. I could smell the stench of burnt food circulating throughout the house. I guess Aiden is still trying.

I shrugged it off and continued opening it, smiling softly at him when I saw the contents.

It was a beautiful, hand crafted set. It came with a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet, all blackberry themed. The texture and color was just right, and it seemed to be among the more comfortable accessories. ( Shown below.. Also dont mind my 100 tabs )

" Aww.. " I set the box down on the nearby desk then, not really thinking, I wrapped my arms around his neck, filling the space between us. I could feel his hands twitch as they hovered over my sides, his arms eventually moving and wrapping around me.

I buried my face into the crook of his neck, too scared and embarrassed of pulling away and letting him see how red I was.

" You are shaking. " Kody stated. My face heated up more as I pulled away, covering my face as soon as I did.

" I got nervous! " I laughed and uncovered my face, still giggling. He raised a brow, and shook his head at me, though no one could deny, not even himself, that he was actually being soft.

I slipped on my backpack, which was Kody's previous one that I stole, and opened the front door, ready to step out. Kody turned me around before I could, keeping a hand firmly on my shoulder due to my squirming.

" Where are you going? " I cracked a nervous smile, looking at his hand that still rested on my shoulder.

" A friend's.. " I whispered pathetically. He rolled his eyes and let go of my shoulder.

" Send me your location if you get yourself into trouble and text me if you feel too anxious. I will come pick it up. Also, don't you dare push yourself past your limit. " He then walked off without letting me reply.

I walked out, where Kate was waiting for me. She proceeded to drag me all the way to her house.

" So, when did you get those? " She gestured to the jewelry set Kody had given me a few days ago.

" Ahhh.. It was Kody. He gave it to me a few days ago. " I giggled, rubbing the bracelet.

She opened her front door, inviting me in. I started to look around as soon as I got in. She grinned at me cheekily.

" What do you think? " ( where are my fellow holosexuals? ) I looked back at her, smiling warmly.

" Its beautiful " Her grin seemed to widen as she dragged me up the stairs.

" So, what is going on with you this weekend? Would you want to sleep over? Ehehe.. Only if your comfortable with it! " She asked, plopping down on the bed. I sat beside her.

" Ahhh.. Sure.. Well it's my.. Birthday? Anniversary..? Day..? " I said, trailing off awkwardly at the end.

She seemed to burst with excitement as she turned to me and grabbed my hands, smiling at me.

Before I could do it say anything, I heard the closet doors slowly creaking open. Both Kate and I looked over, only to see Alex step out, glaring at me.
