Wei Wuxian was pacing around. "Those damn pranksters, how dare they mess with my son" Wei Wuxian said holding an age 2 version of Sizhui in his arms. "Lan Zhan, have you found a cure yet?" Wei Wuxian asked. Lan Wangji flipped through some books and showed the page to Wei Wuxian. "Lan Zhan, that's pretty far, I don't want to leave my poor son behind" Wei Wuxian said kissing the top of his sons forehead gaining him a cute giggle from his son who hugged him in return. "Then again, he can't be this small forever, even though I would love that" Wei Wuxian said patting his back. Lan Wangji nodded and started thinking. "We would need a baby sitter" Lan Wangji said thinking about the possible people that could baby sit him. 

They thought for a while but they couldn't find anyone suitable to do so. Lan Xichen was out on a mission, Lan Wangji's uncle was always busy teaching classes, Jiang Cheng was out of the question, and they couldn't bring him with them. Wei Wuxian didn't know what to do. "A-Yuan, what should we do with you?" Wei Wuxian asked nuzzling his son. "I want to play with Jingyi!" Lan Sizhui said as he tried to crawl out of his father arms. "Right! Jingyi wasn't on that mission! So he's still his adult form!" Wei Wuxian said. "Let's go, Lan Zhan". 

Wei Wuxian knocked on the door to Jingyi's room. He answered the door and immediately bowed in seeing Lan Wangji. "Hanguang-jun, what brings you here?" Jingyi asked. "We need you to babysit till we find a cure" Wei Wuxian said. "Your fathers will be right back" Wei Wuxian added as he gave the younger Lan Sizhui to Jingyi. He looked at the two in shock "Wait this is Sizhui?" Lan Wangji gave him a nod. "Take care of him, we'll take him back in 2 days" Lan Wangji said as he gave his son a pat on the head and left with Wei Wuxian following behind. 

Jingyi was still standing at the doorstep of his room shocked at what happened to his dear friend. He wondered if his friend would remember what happened after he turned back to normal. No matter, Hanguang-jun gave him orders and was going to follow them no matter what. 

He sat Lan Sizhui on the bed, "I didn't go on one night hunt and this is what happens to you" Lan  Jingyi said patting the younger boy and smiled. "Are you hungry?" Jingyi asked as the boy nodded and stood up. "Okay, wait here. I'll make something for you" Jingyi said. The little boy nodded and waited patiently on the chair. When he was finished, Jingyi placed the bowl in front of him. Of course being two years old, he made a mess leaving Jingyi to go clean it up while Lan Sizhui made himself something to do. Luckily Lan Jingyi didn't have to change any change any diapers as he was already potty trained. 

Lan Jingyi was working on some homework as Lan Sizhui snuck up behind him and hugged him.  It stunned him for a bit till he realizes he's a child. He sighed and placed him in his lap instead. "You want to do my homework for me?" Jingyi teased. Lan Sizhui shook his head and held onto his robe instead. "You're really clingy as a child, you know that?" Lan Jingyi said while patting his head. Lan Sizhui didn't say much aside from snuggle closer to him. "Okay, I'll play with you" Jingyi said as he put his brush set away and carried him to the middle of the room away from things that could potentially hurt him. 

When all things were completely child proofed, he turn started to play with him. "What do you want to play?" Jingyi asked. "I want to play, hide and seek!" Sizhui said. He covered his eyes and started counting. With the little boy suddenly started counting, Jingyi quickly ran and hid behind  a bush that was just outside his window. When the little boy finished counting he started to look for him inside the room. He looked under tables, behind book shelves, under the bed but still no sign of him. He began to run around the room till he tripped on the carpet falling face first. 

Right away, Lan Jingyi ran out of his hiding spot and ran to the boy. "Sizhui, are you alright?" Jingyi said as he carefully inspected his friend for any injuries. "I found you" Lan Sizhui said. Jingyi looked at him in shock. Has he been outsmarted by a child?. He was still frozen in place as the child in front of him yawned. "I'm sleepy" The child in front of him said. "I guess that means bedtime" Jingyi said.

After Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi finished taking a bath, they went to bed. Lan Sizhui had the bed which meant that Lan Jingyi had to sleep on the ground. Not that it bothered him though, he surely slept through much worse. Lan Jingyi was about to fall asleep till he heard Lan Sizhui call his name. "Jingyi gege, I can't sleep" Sizhui said. Lan Jingyi let out a sigh and sat on the bed. "Can you sleep beside me?" Sizhui asked. Jingyi was hesitating, was it really okay? Technically he is a child but he's also his friend. "Um...I" Jingyi stammered. "Please?" Lan Sizhui pleaded with his eyes glossy. Not being able to say no to the cuteness, he agreed as he lied down beside him. Lan Sizhui smiled and held his hand with his tiny hands "Jingyi Gege, I love you" Jingyi smiled and patt his head "I love you too" and fell asleep.

The next morning Lan Sizhui woke up back in his adult form again. "My head..." He squinted his eyes and was about to get up till he felt something holding his hand. He looked down and saw Lan Jingyi sleeping soundly while holding his hand. Immediately he flushed red "J-Jingyi?" Lan Sizhui blushed some more as all the memories came back. He covered his face with his hands and touched his burning face. He looked down once again and saw that he was still sleeping. Indeed Lan Sizhui know about his feeling for the boy but what never say so unless he knew for certain that the boy liked him back. Slowly he moved back down under the sheets and lied down staring at the boys face, brushing some of his bangs away from his eyes. He sighed and looked at the time, 4:50 was the time. "We still got 10 minutes left of sleeping time" He yawned as he lied down beside him once again not letting go of his hand. 

Outside of the room, Wei Wuxian was literally tearing up. "A-Yuan is all grown up" He said wiping a few tears away from his face. "I wasn't expecting to find the herbs that fast, right Lan Zhan?" Wei Wuxian said and he linked arms with him. "Mhm". "Let's go, I want to play with the rabbits" Wei Wuxian said pulling Lan Wangji along to go pet the rabbits.
