Short stories (Lan Sizhui/Jin Ling/Lan Jingyi x fem reader)

Lan Sizhui

I walked through Yunmeng Jiang sect kind of pretending to be one of the boys that are patrolling the area. As I pretended to be one of them, from the corner of my eye I could see men in white with cloud patterns talking to each other. Immediately, not wanting to look like a weirdo. I pretended to be admiring the stars. Before I could look up I accidentally made eye contact with one of the boys as I quickly averted my eyes. 

"Why are they still here? Please leave. I have curfew" You said as she tried to look as proper as possible. "H-hey" You hear a boy ask as you turn his way. "Oh, um. Hi" You greeted bowing slightly. "What are you doing outside? it's getting late" The boy asked. "I was just admiring the stars, they're quite beautiful tonight" You stated. "That is true" The boy said as he looked up to also watch the stars. 

You take notice of his clothes and remembered the white and blue colors. Knowing that he's not from your sect, you decide to strike up a conversation. "So, what brings you here? You're not from here are you?" You chuckled. The boy smiled softly. "I'm just here on a mission, 3 day mission to be exact" You could here the tiredness in his voice as you felt kind of bad for him. You pull out some candies and pass them to him. 

He looked at you confused. "Is this candy?" He asked as you nodded. "I eat it to wake myself up sometimes" You stated as he popped one in his mouth and beamed. "Wow, this tastes great!" He said excitedly. You chuckle at what a cute dork he is. "I didn't catch your name by the way" You looked at him and smiled "My name is (Y/N) Nice to meet you" You smile. "Lan Sizhui" He responded. 

You both continued to talk for a while till you hear his name being called. "Ah, it seems like I have to go now" Lan Sizhui said. You nodded in understanding and with a hint of  disappointment. "Come back tomorrow, okay?" You said while holding up your pinky finger. Quickly he looped his finger around yours and smiled. "I'll come back, it's a promise".   

Jin Ling 

As a child, you didn't have many friends till one day you wandered into a training ground by accident. The little you decided to walk around to try to find a way out. "Mom and Dad are going to be super mad at me" You said as tears filled your eyes. You kept on walking with your hope of finally leaving disappeared little by little. You notice that their a bench as you make you way over to it. 

Once you sat down you buried your head in your knees and started to cry softly to yourself. "I want to go home..." You mumbled out load. "Then go" You look up to see a boy wearing clothes that belong to the Lanling Jin Sect looking at you. "W-who are you?" You asked. "I'm Jin ling, I'm 7 and I live here" Jin Ling said. "I'm Y/N. I'm 6 and I'm lost" You say as you could see a smirk appear on his face. "Well, I can show you the way but in return you have to play with me" He said.

Even though his intentions were nice, the only thing you wanted to do right now was leave. However him looking like a very important person, you figured it wouldn't be a good idea to decline. Reluctantly you nod your head as he smiled. "Great! We're gonna play hide and seek" 

"I'll be the one that hides, and you'll need to find me" Jin Ling said. You nodded while turning around and counting. "1...2...3-" You count aloud. Jin Ling looked around in search of find a good hiding spot as he spotted a tree. 

"99...100! Ready or not, here I come" You shout as you look around. In about 8 seconds you found him hiding in a tree.  "Jin ling! I see you" You point at the tree as he scoffed. "Its not fair that I'm wear bright clothes, I'll be easily spotted" He sighed as he looked down. 

You notice him not coming down as you look at him in confusion. "What are you waiting for?" You ask. "I can't! It's too high!" He said will looking down. You think for a while and smile. "Don't worry! I'll catch you!" You shout as you held up your arms. With a blush he jumped. 

You smile remembering back to the old days were you both were still innocent as you chuckle. "Hey, Jin ling" You shout as he looked at you in confusion. "What?" He asked as you smirk. "I challenge you to a game of hide and seek" He smirked in return. "Get ready to lose, (Y/N).

Lan Jingyi

Lan Jingyi sighed as he continued to look at his books. You look at him. "What's wrong?" You asked. Have let out another loud sigh. "Be quiet! Noise is forbidden remember" You whispered yell as he just groaned. "What's got your mood so down?" You asked. He stared at your eyes as he sighed. "You promise not to tell?" He asked as she nodded. 

He breathed in a gush of air as he spoke. "I challenged Sizhui to a duel and I lost now I'm scared he's gonna make fun of me" He said breathing out. "That's all? You know Sizhui would never laugh at someone else's failures. "I'm pretty sure that's forbidden as well. You stated trying to remember the 3 thousand ruled on the wall. "Yea but it still looks bad on my part" He sighed. 

You notice that he's actually taking this to heart as you think for a moment. "How about I train you then?" You suggested as he stood up. "EHH" He yelled as the disciples around him shh'ed at him. "Why do you think I need you to train me?" He asked quietly. "Because even though I can't fight someone else, I still trained on my own, I don't mean to brag but I'm pretty good at sword fighting. "What? You scared?" You teased. "Course not, just promise we'll continue being friends when I kick your butt" 

You lead him outside the walls of the Gusu sect and stood in front of him. She handed him a long stick with bags of cooking flour tied at the end of both the sticks. "The way how this works is, whoever get's the most flour on their opponents body in 10 minutes, is declared to winner" You explain as he nodded. "Ready? Set...GO" You yelled as you full speed attack him with the stick. 

10 minutes later Lan Jingyi is covered, head to toe in flour. You on the other barely had any. You laugh as you see him panting. "I win" You giggle as he glared at you. "I wasn't ready" He said in between breaths. You laugh as you walk towards him putting a bit of flour on his nose. "Sure you weren't" You laugh.
