Jiang Yanli was on her way to school as usual. Her two brothers Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian were already ahead of her by a few meters, fighting as usual. She swung her bag back in forth while listening to the morning birds chirps. When she made it to school, she changed her shoes into indoor shoes as she locked her locker. She bid her brothers goodbye as they went to their classes ands she went to hers. 

The classroom already had people in it, she had to admit she thought she was going to be late today but she wasn't thanks to her brothers that decided to sprint the way before the gates closed. She made it to her seat as her friend Wen Qing greeted her. "You look tired" Wen Qing said. "Here, take a sip" Wei Qing said as she handed her the cup of ice coffee she was drinking. She kindly thanked her as she took a sip and handed it back to her. "Have you heard?" Wen Qing started. "Apparently the seniors are going to be helping in our gym class" Wen Qing said. 

Wen Qing disliked all boys, except those that are close to Jiang Yanli or her younger brother. Other than those, she hated boys. "Who's stupid idea was that anyways, I'd rather teach my brothers class then have those idiots join us" Wen Qing said. "Come on, not all boys are like Wen Chao" Jiang Yanli reasoned. "He picked on my younger brother, if I see him again I'll knock his teeth out from his damn skull". Jiang Yanli chuckled at her friends comments. "Calm down, I'll treat you to bubble tea, how does that sound?" Yanli asked. Her friend smiled and nodded.

Jiang Yanli unpacked her bag and waited for the teacher to come in. During the lesson, she suddenly didn't feel very well. She raised her hand "excuse me, teacher" She called. The teacher turned around "Yes, Yanli?" He asked "I'm not feeling very well, could I please have permission to go the nurses office?" She asked kindly. "You may, I'll give your portion of homework to Wen Qing to give you if you decide to go home" Her teacher said as she nodded and bowed. She packed up her stuff and went on her way.

Luckily for her, the nurse was in. She told the nurse her problem as the nurse gave her some pills. She cleared a bed and told her to rest. She did as she was instructed and lied down on the bed closing her eyes. Around 20 minutes later, she heard the nurse call her. "Yanli, I'm going to be right back, I need to pick up some stuff from the staff room. In the meantime could you watch my office and help anyone who goes in?". Yanli opened her eyes and gave an "okay" sign. The nurse smiled at her and left. 

The pills that the nurse has given her seemed to have taken affect as she was starting to feel a bit better. She sat up and pulled the curtains away. The nurse has left the door open which meant people could still walk in. She was professionally trained but hopefully she could help anyone who walked through the door. She began wiping the the tables and fixing up the bed she was lying on before. While she was doing that, someone walked in. 

It were 2 guys. Both a year older than her. "I told you to not play that rough, your bleeding a lot" She heard someone say. "Where's the nurse?" Jiang Yanli thought that was her cue as she dusted her hands and step out. "Can I help you?" Jiang Yanli said. The boy that was injured looked at her and blushed. "Uh, my arm is bleeding" He said. 

She motioned the boy to sit on the bed. "Could you please fill this form out for your friend?" His friend nodded as he signed the form and handed it back to her. "Thank you. You could go back to class now, I'll send him back when I'm finished" Jiang Yanli said. His friend thanked her as he walked back to class. 

Jiang Yanli looked the form he signed. "Okay, Jin Zixuan. I'm going to clean the wound, please let me know if it hurts" She said "S-sure" He responded. Jin Zixuan was usually a very calm boy however the one in front of him was in fact the only girl he ever liked. She cleaned off the access blood and dabbed a bit of disinfectant on the wound. "I'm Jiang Yanli, I'm a grade lower then yours" She introduced. "I seen you around, I'm Jin Zixuan but I guess you already know that" he chuckled. She smiled, "I've also seen you around the school, so glad to finally meet you" She smiled while wrapping a bandage around his wrist. "Say, how did you get this wound anyways? It looked like someone scratched you pretty hard" She said inspecting the wound closely. He scratched the back of his head. "This was this guy and he kind of got on my nerves, he kept bullying the freshman so I couldn't just stand still" He said. "That's very heroic of you" She said. 

The kept talking as she bandaged his wound. "Alright, I think I'm all done" She said while closing the first aid kit. "Thanks" He said. She gave him a smile. "Sure!" A little later the nurse came back. "Sorry it took a while, there was a misbehaving student" The nurse said. "It's fine, really" Jiang Yanli said. The nurse have her a smile. "If only you could help me all the time, are you feeling better?" The nurse asked. "Yes, thank you so much for those pills" Jiang Yanli thanked. "Now scurry along, you could still make it for last class" The nurse said as she pushed the two out and shut the door. "Those two are so cute together...I ship it". 

They were both walking silently back to class. Jin Zixuan cleared his throat. "Yanli, I was just wondering..." He spoke. "Hm?" "My class is going to be assisting your class so I was wondering if there's a chance that we could be partners?" He said. It took a while for her to answer, this causes Jin Zixuan to panic and think that he might've rushed things. "I would love to be your partner" She said. "And thanks for bandaging me wound, here" He took out a piece of paper and handed it to her. "That's my number, you can call me or text me if you need anything. I'll try to answer as soon as possible". Feeling embarrassed he hurriedly walked a little faster. 

Jiang Yanli just chuckled as she took out her phone and typed something in it. 

"Let's walk home together 😊"
