Qin's POV

For the love of Goddess, where the hell did I go wrong? I should've just left them when they rejected me. Should've ran when Alice came and found me. I would've run from this fate, and not look back. The fact I didn't want to make them targets was the only reason I wasn't turning tail and running. Had I manned up and done what I was supposed too from the beginning maybe being cursed would have never happened to begin with. Then again, I wouldn't have been able to meet them if that were the case. Goddess this shit sucks, I thought as I looked at the palace I had once called my home.

"Well if it isn't the fucking coward," Gaylin taunted as he stepped out with his arms crossed, showing off his fire and water markings. Alice growled softly, but a hand on her shoulder from Shelton stopped her. "I see you brought your own audience to watch you die," My other brother Otho sneered. "These are my mates," I told them. "Everyone, this is my brother Gaylin, and my brother Otho." "What makes you so special to deserve six mates," Otho scoffed.

"Otho!" Mother snapped as she came outside. "Show your brother and his mates some respect. As you can see, they too, are of royal blood." "Yeah, one is a no good witch," Gaylin said and I stepped forward. "I don't care what you say about me, but speak ill of my mates, and I'll throw you off this damn mountain." "I think it's best we go inside," My mother said, ushering us all into the palace. Servants took my mates things to our room while my mother lead us to the dinning room. When I saw my father, I had to hold back my rage. He raised an eyebrow at my mates. "When Hayden informed me you had multiple mates, he failed to inform me they were royalty." "That is because he did not know. I didn't properly introduce them," I told him. "And one is pregnant?" "Cindy is pregnant with twins, dragon and gypsy mix," I told him. "I have only known them for a few weeks, and have yet to complete the mating." "It is good that you wait. I'd hate to see your mates die and leave her alone until she has the children," Gaylin said, causing my mother to glare.

I glared at him as well, "I'm not going to kill you. Instead, I will just knock you unconscious so you're forced to live with the fact you were defeated by your weak little brother." That caused their smirks to drop. We all sat down and I hated being here. This was not my home. Drake took my hand and laced our fingers together. He gave it a squeeze and I returned the squeeze.

"I think the goddess has a sick sense of humor to pair you with a witch," My father said. "I'm more than just a witch, thank you very much," Alice glared. "I'm a wolf and a vampire too. Don't forget that." Shelton pinched the bridge of his nose while Pyrus chuckled, Nathaniel smirked, and Drake looked a little lost at what to do. Cindy just watched with interest. "I apologize for Alice's behavior," Shelton told my father. "She maybe a Princess, but before the demon attack, she had no ties other than her royal blood to the throne so she was not raised to be a princess." "I'm not fucking sorry," Alice said while crossing her arms. "She's more like a filthy warrior than a princess," Otho said. I grabbed Alice's arm quickly before she could jump up and gut my brother.

"Let me show you just how much of a warrior I can be," She said with a smirk. "I should let you know, before being a Princess, I was a huntress." They paled then and I chuckled softly. After that dinner passed quickly without another word said.

Back in the room I saw they changed my old room to have two king sized beds pushed together so there would be enough room for all of us. Cindy pulled Alice into the bathroom to bathe, and I went to the balcony with a glass of whiskey, leaving my crown and vest discarded on the bed. Warm arms wrapped around me and I leaned into Pyrus. "You're brothers are assholes," He said with a chuckle. "Not really," I told him softly. "They only act like that because they're angered by this whole tradition. We have to fight till we nearly kill each other. I had the strength to stand up to my father once and tell him I refused to do it. He should've killed me for going against the tradition. Instead he threw me in the war, hoping the witches do it for him. Thanks to the witch turning us all into demons, we became immortal. Now that we're back as warlocks, it's like time has resumed from where it stopped." I leaned my head back against him as I took a drink. "My brothers and I truly love each other, but when faced with fighting or death, you'd be stupid to choose death. At least with fighting you have a chance." I shuddered as I released a sob. "I was stupid and chose death, not wanting to fight them. It wasn't because I was weaker than them, it was because I didn't want any of us to go through that pain. My father tried to get us to grow up and hate each other like him and his brothers, but that didn't happen. The only reason they're mad at me now is because I stood up to my father, and they were also punished for it. Took them to the whipping posts, forced me to watch, before he sent me away."

My glass was taken from me before Nathaniel stepped in front of me. He cupped my cheeks and used his thumbs to wipe away my tears. "It's going to be okay," He told me, before placing a soft kiss on my lips. I groaned when he deepened the kiss as Pyrus began to trail kisses down the back of my neck. I felt my face heat up as my cock hardened. "Do you guys plan on giving the entire mountain a show," We heard a teasing voice said. We turned and saw Shelton standing in only his boxers. I gulped when I remembered I'm going to be sharing a bed with them. Alice came over to us, "Be happy we have mercy Qin. Usually we sleep nude. And if you don't want to get jumped tonight, it would be smart if you didn't either." My eyes widened and my face felt hotter. "There's our blushing prince," Drake teased as I grabbed some pajama bottoms and went into the bathroom. They were all laughing as I shut the door. Maybe with them, I can make this my home once more.
