Uncontrollable(HUGE REMAKE)

Chapter 2

The robodog, Lisa, wakes me up. I sit up, a bubble of laughter rising inside me. She sticks her tongue in my skin, licking me as if I'm not awake yet.

"You can stop now," I commanded then she suddenly stop licking me. She eyes me, breathing with her tongue out.

"It's a beautiful day, huh," I said then she barks back at me.

"It is. It's your big day," she answered back and bark again. She wiggles her tail, and that made me smile brightly.

I stood up and stretch for a bit. While I'm putting my glasses on, I heard a loud knock through my door echoes through the room that makes my soul pumped up.

"Kezia, it's us, Hugo and Atticus. May we come in?" Atticus said.

"Yes, come in," I said while brushing my hair using my fingertips. I sat down softly on my bed and saw them walking towards me. They sat in my both side and gave me a huge smile.

"Be careful out there, okay?" Hugo said while tapping my back. The soft caress of his palms on my shoulder makes me wonder that they really care for me. I nodded back for a response.

"Do you guys know why mom and dad didn't let me go to school for a long time?" I asked them. The thought of that makes me think hard. Why would they let their daughter to not meet any people for the past years?

"Me, personally, will tell you the reason. If only I knew, but I actually don't. The only thing we know is that you're not safe outside. So you have to be careful. Really careful," Atticus said, and I just nod and gave him this one of those forced smile.

Not safe? Why? I don't think this questions will give me an answer, so I stay quiet. After a minute later, my brothers and I were done eating. Then, my mom dropped us off at school at 7:00 am, but we have to wait for 30 minutes because the first class will start at 7:30. I sat at the bench near with my brothers. All of a sudden, there's a lot of students with a cyborg arm, cyborg leg, and even cyborg eyes, walking down the foyer and laughing so hard. I look at my brothers strangely, why do they have these kind of things on their body?

Hugo looked at me strangely, I think I know what's on his mind: YOU'LL BE OKAY.

"Yes," I said out loud.

"What?" He asked with a shudder. Hugo's eyes are slightly unfocused now. He's definitely stoned. I feel her stiffen underneath his layers and layers.

"You said I'll be okay, so yes. Don't worry," I said with a calm voice.

"You can read my. . ." Before he says the word he was about to say, someone interrupted him.

"Hey Hugo! Atticus!" He taps the back of my brothers. "Who is this innocent girl?"

"Oh Jack, this is Kezia. She's our sister," Hugo introduce me.

"Hi," I greet him.

"I'm Jackson Blew," then he bows at me, and kisses my hand. Is this how they are when it comes to girl? My eyes are wide and he suddenly leave me speechless and breathless. That thing he just did gives me the creep. Atticus looked at me and went on my back and whispered something. "That's how guys introduce themselves to a lady," he said that I can't barely hear.

"She's not use to that thing. This is her first time getting into school and first time meeting new people," Hugo explained, I nod in the sense that I agree at what he just said.

"Oh, my fault. I'm sorry miss," Jackson said.

"No, no, I'm just astound. That's all," I conclude. I'm not really comfortable talking about my past situation. It's just makes me antagonize remembering being trapped in my house, not allow to go everywhere. I'm very happy now because I'm allow of anything. I can do anything I want right now.
