Finola's POV

I looked down at the beautiful wedding dress that my sisters had picked out for me. It was an off-the-shoulder mermaid wedding dress with long lace sleeves. It had a lot of glittery objects on it that made it shiny. I looked up at the mirror in front of me. My hair wasn't in its usual high bun; instead, it flowed down to my right side in curls with silver accessories and a tiara. My face was dolled up courtesy of Finola, who was surprisingly good at makeup.

I wasn't a big fan of makeup, but my sister's persuaded me, after all, it's my wedding day, and they wanted me to look like a princess, and I did.

"This is all you need now," Fabiola stated as she placed the bouquet of red roses in my hands. She smiled at me, "You look amazing."

Finola giggled behind her, "I've got to say, you clean up nicely big sister."

I rolled my eyes at my younger sister but thanked her, "Thank you." Fiona and Fabiola were wearing long off the shoulder red dress. Their hair was up in a classy wrap. They had white bouquets in their hands. They looked beautiful, and it wasn't anything new. With her auburn hair and grey eyes, Fabiola had men falling all over her. Not to mention Fiona with her copper blond hair and grey eyes, she was gracious.

Then there was me. Brown hair and hazel eyes just like my daddy. He didn't even bother to come.

"I can't believe you're getting married. I guess pigs are flying somewhere."I laughed at Fabiola's words. She was most the lively and jovial one of the three Mona girls.

"And cats too,"

"Cows," Fiona added. "Maybe a few elephants too."

We stood there, naming animals and laughing until we heard a knock on the door. "Come in," Fabiola answered. Chelsea, Harlyn's mother, pushed her head in. "They're ready to begin."

Fiona clapped her hands and giggled. My sisters were more excited about my wedding than I was. What I am was nervous. Nervous that things wouldn't go as plan, nervous that Joesph would try and ruin things and the plan wouldn't work. I was nervous about the vows that I practised. And most of all, I was nervous about kissing Harlyn again. Nervous, nervous, nervous.

Fiona placed her hands in mine, "C'mon big sister, let's get you married to Mr Ruthless." That was Fiona's name for Haryln every since the first time they met two years ago, and it's never changed since.

I walked out of the room with my sisters and Chelsea behind me. Soon enough, we were at the entrance of Chelsea's Garden. It was breathtaking. The Japanese Maple Tree was as red as the gowns my sisters were wearing. The red leaves were falling from the tree, making the surrounding area beautifully red. I smiled, red is my favourite colour, and now it was all around me.

"I'll take it from here." Christoper, Harlyn's father, said. He looked at me and smile, "You look beautiful."

I blushed at his comment as I took his hands in mine. My parents couldn't come to my wedding because they were out of the country. It wasn't a surprise to me though; they always choose business before family and my mother wasn't exactly pleased to hear about my breakup with Joesph by a magazine, especially since she was so fond of him.

As I walked hand-in-hand with the man who is about to become my father in law, I looked ahead at my groom. He wore a tuxedo with a red bow tie and matching pocket square. His steel-blue eyes were staring at me as I made my way up to the altar.

When we were about four feet away when Christoper stopped and turned me to him. "He is a good man. Take care of him."

I offered him a small smile, "I will."Christoper looked like an older version of Harlyn except with green eyes. He was still handsome even in his old age.
