POV Alexis
Date: October
"Excuse you?" I had turned around and looked at the group of boys while they laughed bluntly. "Acting like a dick, doesn't make yours any bigger shithead!" Now laughter emerged from both parties. Justin stopped laughing. "What did you just say to me?" He stalked closer to me. "I'm just saying," I paused for a little bit and shrugged. "I'm not a proctologist, but I know an asshole when I see one," He laughed arrogantly, as if he didn't care. "That's super gay." I frowned. That was his response? I looked around and saw some confused faces. 'That's gay?' What the shit, that doesn't make any sense! "Honey, I'm straighter than the pole your momma dances on," and with that comment he came at me. Without hesitation I returned his rush with a fist in the face. "No, Alexis!" Before it could have gotten out of hand people jumped in between us. Chris and Sander had gotten a hold of me and pulled me away from Justin. Justin's friends did the same with him. "Come back here, I'll bite your legs off!" Scarlett laughed, she understood the reference. "Oh, and for the record, calling something gay is not an insult!" Luna yelled sassily and quickly hurried after us. Sander and Chris were still dragging me away. "Oh c'mon he deserved that one!" "Yes, you have a point. But solving everything by starting a fight isn't a good way to fix problems," Chris responded smugly. "Okay, okay! I won't. Now if you'd be so kind?" They looked at each other, nodded, and let go of me. "Really Alexis, someday you're going to get yourself into a fight that you can't win," I looked at Sander and nodded. He was always really caring, and he certainly didn't approve of these kinds of stunts. Girls were often swooning over him but he's really picky on the girls he hangs out with. I mean that he just really has to like them. In- and outside. "Still he deserved it," "Oh yes, that's for sure!" We laughed and returned to the school building.
"Well that was enough drama for me today," Scarlett let out a deep breath. I laced my sneakers and threw my backpack over my shoulder. "I did like the hit though," Luna responded. "Soap producers would have paid craploads to see something like that, haha," I smiled while opening the door. "I don't want to talk about it anymore. My mom is surely going to lecture me on violence again," Scarlett and Luna followed me trough. "Anyhow, we'll have to wait 45 minutes until our next class starts so...-" "Crap! What is today's date?!" I looked weirdly at Scarlett. "Uh, 22nd of October? Why?" She rambled through her bag and pulled out a book. "Scarlett you were supposed to hand that in like 5 weeks ago!" Luna shouted with a mixture of shame and joy. I again, laughed. "Well, first, let's go to the library."
After Scarlett had handed in the book she searched for her wallet. The lady behind the counter clicked on her screen a few times. "Uhm, you have violated the return deadline for this book," Luna and I grinned while Scarlett had already put some coins on the counter. "Yhea, with 5 weeks!" Luna shouted. "Shut up Luna! Is this enough?" The lady counted the coins and nodded. "Well, I just think it is really important to spend money on education and...-" I raised a brow and nodded sarcastically. "Blah, blah, blah! Sure Scarlett!" I pulled Scarlett away and Luna skipped after us. We got back in the auditorium where multiple people were spending their free hours. Some studying, others just chilling. Chris, Sander and Dennis were standing at a table talking to some other friends. When we walked in some heads turned and people talked. "Scarlett, what did we do Sunday? I mean, I thought I remembered everything," she shrugged. "Je ne sais pas. Kids always find these things exiting, wouldn't stress to much about it." She responded simply. I nodded, it made sense. We were greeted by our friends and joined in the conversation going on about the exams to come. After a few minutes Alex and a few friends walked towards us and greeted everybody. They were especially good friends with Chris and Dennis. I had grabbed my laptop and was watching the schedule for the exams. "Wait, I don't understand. Why are French and Math's at the same day on the same time?" The group looked at me with confusion. "Can I see?" Alex asked. "Sure," He walked over and Luna gave me a smug look. I returned her look with wiggly eyebrows. When he was beside me he looked at my screen, tapped some things and the right schedule appeared. I smiled and looked at the schedule on my laptop. "Thanks, still hate to see this though. I am not looking forward to this," the group nodded and some sighed deeply. "Ah you'll do fine, you're really smart right?" Alex looked at me with a little frown. "Yhea, I guess so." I replied worriedly, and I felt a blush creeping up. "If you need help with something we can always study together?" I smiled broadly. "Yhea that would actually be really nice!" That might have come out more enthusiastically as I had hoped, but I really liked him. Because, ladies and gents, this guy right here, is boyfriend material. Not hookup-stuff or someone to mess around with, but the actual, committed, loyal, decent kind of guy. He looked a little bit like Noah Centineo, J'Adore! "So, tonight? Around 8 o'clock?" I nodded happily, but still in a calm way. "Okay, cool. Well, see ya!" And with these words he walked away. My head popped in an under chin and I yelped happily. My friends, used to whatever it was what I did, laughed and applauded. "Girl... You got, a date, with the most smoking hot guy, in the entire universe. How do you fucking feel?" Scarlett cheered while the boys laughed. "And wat about the inner side of him huh, do you care about that?" Chris mockingly talked back to Scarlett. "Oh, Shut up Chris! You're just jealous because Alex has a flaming eight pack and all you have is a flaming eight burrito rolls!" Chris pressed his hand to his chest and looked quasi hurt. I was almost on the floor, dying of laughter after Scarlett's remark. Same went for Luna, Sander and Dennis. "Oh my god Scarlett, I did not need such a personal attack!" She blew him a hand kiss and smiled. I tried to get some oxygen back in my lungs and gasped for breath between laughter. Oh, so much joy!
