The next day, the third challenge was given out by Chetty. He told the teams that an app was to be made by the end of the day, and the one that had the most downloads won the challenge.
"Let's take this team spirit and apply it to this next app challenge," said Billy as he paced around the room. "We got this."
"It would help if we had an idea for one." said Stuart. Billy looked over at him. "You bet your sweet ass it would, Stewie." Stuart shook his head. "No. Never Stewie."
"Perimeter breach acknowledged, Stuart," said Nick. "It will feel good when he warms up to me. It's going to happen. I'll break you down like a two-by-four, bronco. Watch me."
"Come on guys, let's brainstorm this puppy!" Billy exclaimed. "We're going to put the coffee in the pot and let it percolate!" Nick cried.
"Let's explore what apps have been the most popular," Yo-Yo suggested. "That's a good idea," said Veronica. "Go backwards to go forwards!" Billy cried. "Oh, and we can bin it," said Neha. Veronica nodded. "Yeah, we can categorize needle-movers by user."
Billy's eyebrows furrowed. "Do what?" he asked.
"Hit it by function and by user," Lyle explained. "The old two-prong. Taking out the shield generator on the forest moon of Endor and fighting with Admiral Ackbar. It's not a trap!"
Billy held his hands up. "All right guys," he said, drawing his team's attention over to him. "I don't want to kill the momentum or the mojo but to be fair to you, needles and categories, they don't use apps. People use apps."
Veronica shook her head. Billy truly did not know what they were talking about earlier. She opened her mouth to speak but closed it when Billy continued speaking.
"So I have an idea. People take pictures, right?" The team nodded their heads. "They have their phones out, they see something, take it, but then the photo's just sitting there. What if they take that photo and instantaneously put it out on the line and share it with their friends?"
"That's Instagram," Stuart stated. "It already exists. It's one of the most popular apps in the world. Facebook bought it for a billion dollars. That's billion with a b." Veronica nodded. "That's true."
Billy shook his head. "Oh, no, no, mine's very different." "How is yours something very different from that?" asked Yo-Yo. "Because in mine, you put the photo out on the line." "Online," Lyle corrected Billy. "A photo exchange on the line."
"Yeah that's Instagram," said Neha. "Mine has a social sharing on the line," said Billy. "Online," Lyle corrected once again. "When you keep saying on the line, do you mean online?" asked Stuart.
"Stuart, don't do that!" Nick yelled. "He's got a million dollar idea right here!" "Billion dollar idea," Stuart corrected. "Billion with a b," said Veronica. "Even better! Let him flow."
