Chapter 14

Jade's POV

I woke up the next morning with an empty bed. Xavier must be woken up by now. When I looked at my phone it was 7:30 am. What the hell is he doing  waking up this much early. "He's not early your just late", my sub - conscience says. Whatever I get it I'm not a morning person but 7: 30 am is way too early. I was so engrossed with arguing myself I mean my sub-conscience that I didn't heard the bathroom door being unlocked. But when I looked up it was too late. There was Xavier standing with his glory only with a white towel around his waist hanging loosing-ly. Water drops were running down his define neck to his hard chest to his abs. He was like one of those Greek  gods. I was stunned looking at his build up lean form. He wasn't like those bodybuilders in Instagram or whatever. He was fit. " I say very fit", my sub-conscience purred. I could lick him up. Shaking my head I took my head out of the gutter but it was too late! He saw me. He actually saw me checking him out. I wanna dig my grave now, please.

"Have a good night, sleepyhead? ", he was smirking.

He saw me. Ahh, I was mentally screaming I didn't see him coming closer. When I turn around he was right in front of me. Nose to nose, eye to eye. His hot mint breath was on my mouth. Sub - consciously I opened my mouth. My heart was drumming so fast and hard that I think he could hear it. If he heard my heartbeat I would be really embarrassed like really really embarrassed. What is happening to me. Why does he have the effect on me. We just met for God sake, I questioned to myself, I didn't notice Xavier. He was eying my eyes than my lips. His eyes stayed longer than I thought. He closed his eyes as if he was controlling himself, but I didn't mind anything cause I was busy controlling my own heartbeat. He slowly opened his beautiful ocean blue eyes.

"Get ready princess, we're already late. ", he said. Your mom said breakfast with everybody else.

I only groaned and hide myself under the cover. " I don't wanna go", I whined like a child.

I only heard his rich laugh then I know I'm being tossed around like a potato sack. Like literally a potato sack.

"Ahh, put me down, you monster", I yelled. He only laughed and went to the bathroom with me on his shoulder.

" I hope you break your shoulder from carrying me", I yelled.

He launched, "sorry, but it's not happening anytime soon princess", he mocked.

" I'm not light as a feather, you know ", I muttered grumpy-ly.

" No, you're not ", he simply replied.

In the bathroom he carefully placed me on the sink.

" Stay here", he ordered as if I was a child.

I only stuck out my tongue at him. "I mean it, jade", he said seriously.

He opened one cabinet and got out a toothbrush and pest. " Here brush your teeth. Take a shower I'll wait for you, with that he walked off.

After doing my  morning routine and taking my shower I got out of the shower room and saw my dress were laying on the counter. Xavier must've chosen it for me. It was a gray color oversized sweatshirt and black tights and white converse. I gotta say he has a sense of fashion.

After I got out of the bathroom Xavier was waiting for me. He was in a casual white shirt and white blue or baby blue pants, and he also wore white converse. The outfit was really normal but he nailed it.

"Are you ready? ", he asked.

" Yes, let's go ", I replied walking out of the room.

When we arrived it was already 8:50 am. Everyone was present in the dinning room of the hotel. When we walked in everybody stopped and looked at us. I was already red because I don't like to be the center of the attention. Xavier put his hands on mine and walked in giving them a smile of apology for being late.

"Why so late? ", Samantha, my youngest aunt asked. Did you guys had a great sleep last night? There's a mischievous glint in her eyes.

" Yep, she quite didn't let me sleep last night ", Xavier blinked at me smugly. She's quite handful.

My jaw literally dropped on the floor. What the hell is he talking about. Everyone laughed hearing his statement.

" Okay, I don't want to hear anything anymore about my daughter's love life in the breakfast table ", dad said silencing everyone. From the corner of the eye I saw Drew giving Xavier death glare. I didn't say anything about it and ignored his glare. I glare at Xavier.

" Why did you say that? ", I whisper yelled. Now they got the wrong idea.

" Just follow my lead, princess ", he whispered back. Our relationship will be more believable.

I only nodded. I guess this trip will not be as miserable as I thought. We're already pissing off the to be bride and the groom. I just hope that in this process I don't get hurt then everything will be fine.

Sorry for late update. I got flu and it was hell for me. I'm not totally healthy yet but I'm gaining my health back. Btw I want to thank enjoy_yourself373 for being with me from the start. Thank you for your support.
