Chapter 39

Xavier's PA Sam dig out about Jessica as much as he could and from the investigation he found out about the incident where Lu Ming found her and her amnesia. When he went to give the report file to Xavier he was almost sure about Jessica being Jade. He was also happy about the results.

Knocking at the door lightly he entered Xavier's suit room. He noticed Xavier was busy doing his work and Aspen was sleeping on the bed peacefully.

"Sir, I've got the reports", he said handing the file to Xavier.

Looking at the file Xavier's mood immediately lift up. He was not hundred percent sure that she was his Jade. But one thing didn't match up. How did Jade end up in Shanghai unconscious and with amnesia. Does it have to do with Sandra? But the problem is that Sandra is dead. But again a thought came to his mind. Forgetting about the incident he thought about the little boy who has almost identical eyes like him. But he wasn't sure if the boy was his and he didn't give much mind to it. Whether it's his or not he'll love him as his own. But again the thought of Jade being with another man made him grid his teeth harder.

"What about her relationship? ", Xavier asked. " Is there any man in her life? "

Xavier waited for the answer almost begging in his mind the answer to be negative. To his joy Sam replied in negative. Pleased with the answer Xavier asked Sam to made an appointment with Lu Ming. He needs to talk with the man and confirm it. Nodding Sam dismissed himself.

In the room Xavier was in deep thought and also it's almost 3 days since he last saw Jade after the breakfast in their house. "He needs to make excuses for him to meet her", he thought to himself.

On the other hand Jessica was also restless. She can't stop thinking about the man with deep ocean blue eyes. Almost everything reminds her of that man. Even her own son reminds her of him. She is confused of what to do. She seems to be unable to remember anything from her past but there's something about the man draws attention from her. The feeling is kind of a warm feeling. Where ever she think about him she feels a warm sension which fill up her heart. Seeing her destruction Lu Ming asked her question about it. Being the impatient one she told everything about it to him. After that he also asked if she needs his help. But Jessica declined his help saying she needs to figure it out herself.

Xavier was very much looking forward to the appointment with Lu Ming. He also told Jade's parents and friends about finding her. They were all excited about the news. Even both Lexi and Jason are coming to see Jade with their own eyes. Jade's parents also wanted to come but due to Jade's father's bad health they couldn't come. Jade's dad fell I'll after a year of Jade's missing. His health worsened because of not finding Jade. And when he heard Jade's news he was the most excited of them all.

Entering the office Xavier greeted Lu Ming.

"Good morning Mr Lu"

"Good morning Mr knight"

They both shook their hands.

"I'm gonna be direct Mr Lu", Xavier said seriously. " Today I'm not here for business but for personal reasons ".

" What's that might be", Lu Ming asked coolly.

"It's about your sister Jessica" Xavier said.

Lu Ming only raised his one eyebrow in question.

After Xavier said everything about Jade to Lu Ming, he was silent for a while than he sighed.

"Jessica or Jade as you say, she's very dear to me. When I first found her I thought she would die, the doctor told me about her head injury which was quite serious and she was pregnant before I found her", Lu Ming sighed a bit. "When she first opened her eyes to an unknown surrounding her eyes look like a deer caught in light, only fear was visible in her eyes. She was unknown to everything and after knowing about the pregnancy she was depressed cause she didn't know what to do but she slowly overcame everything and Now she's right here with us despite of all the struggles and I love her very much, I also love my nephew Zian. So if you're gonna pursue her again all I'm asking you to cherish her like the princess she is.

"Don't worry Mr Lu", Xavier said proudly. " She's my queen and I'll treat her like the queen she is".

"Then that's good", Lu Ming patted Xavier's shoulder. " But hurt her and I'll destroy not only you but your whole family ", he threatens.

Laughing Xavier replied, " Before hurting her I'll kill myself ", he said proudly.

Pleased with the answer Lu Ming nodded.

" Anyway if you don't mind can I do a Parenteral test with Zian? ", Xavier asked.

" Well now I know everything I won't mind but you should ask Jessica ", Lu Ming said.

" Mr Lu can you please keep it a secret? ", Xavier asked.

Startled with the request he asked why.

" Well I want to do it slowly with her. First I want to help her with remembering the past and I'll approach her not on the base of her past but on her present self ", Xavier said.

" Then I'll help you ", Lu Ming said understanding the situation.

" Thank you Mr Lu ", Xavier thanked.

" You may call me Lu Ming ", he said. Smirking he said, " After all we're in-laws ".

Laughing Xavier said" Okay, then you must call me Xavier ".

" Okay Xavier ", Lu Ming said. " Hope we get close with each other ", he shakes hands with Xavier.
