" Mommy? ", as the toddler said those words Jessica looked at the girl startled.

The girl was a cute girl who was bearly 5 to 6 years old with slightly strawberry blonde hair and chubby red cheeks with large cute eyes. The little girl was indeed Aspen. Seeing the cute girl's face Jessica's heart melt.

Smiling lightly at the girl she asked, "what's your name princess? ".

Before Aspen could reply Miaomiao replied for her, " Her name is Aspen, Aspen knight".

"Isn't she a cutie? ", Jessica pinches Aspen's chubby cheeks.

Aspen was only looking at Jessica with wide eyes. She again said, " Mommy".

"I'm not your mommy princess", Jessica lightly said. She then look at Miaomiao and signaled with her eyes asking who is she?

" She's Lu Ming's business partner's daughter", Miaomiao immediately replied.

Ignoring their conversation the little girl aging addresses Jessica as her mother. This time Zian protested.

"This is my mommy, not yours", he cutely hugged Jessica's thigh pouting.

Laughing Jessica looked at the girl, " Where's your mommy? I'm not you mommy princess "

But the girl stubbornly insisted that she's her mother. When the little girl was in the verge of crying Jessica sigh and said, "princess I'm not your mommy but you can call me Aunt Jess".

Aspen lightly nodded rubbing her eyes with her sleeves. Then they exchanged a few words about themselves. From there they knew Aspen was 6 years old. She's only one year older than Zian. They were also informed about Aspen's missing mother. Jessica pitied the little girl for loosing her mother at such a young age.

" Alright why don't we eat something sweet? ", Miaomiao said excitedly.

" No, Zian has to take his nap", Jessica replied.

"But mommy I'm not sleepy", Zian complained. " Can I please stay here with Aspen jiejie, huu? ", Zian cutely asked.

(**jiejie meaning older sister)

Looking at her son acting cute for approval Jessica sigh and nodded her head in agreement. Zian cheered up knowing his mother gave into him.

Miaomiao went to entertain other guests while Jessica looked after the kids. The two kids ate and played until they are tired. Zian was bearly awake.

Holding Zian to her chest Jessica called for a helper to pick up Aspen and to take her to her father.

"Take her to Mr knight", she said in Chinese language. " You know Mr knight right? "

The helper nodded in reply. She then took Aspen and bowed her head in respect towards Jessica and went to find Xavier.

Looking at their dissapearing bodies Jessica said to her son, "little guy let's go". She immediately went to the private elevator section which will take them to the penthouse.

On the other side Xavier was talking with various business tyrants. When he saw his daughter's form from the afar he smiled and excused himself to go to her. In his absence Sam talked with them. When Xavier reached her daughter the woman carrying her daughter bowed to him and said, " Mr knight, Ms Lu asked me to escort Ms knight ".

" Ms Lu? ", Xavier asked confused taking her daughter to his embrace.

" Mr Lu's sister, sir"

"Oh, anyway thank you", Xavier thanked dismissing her.

He then looked at his angel, " Princess are you feeling tired? "

Rubbing her eyes Aspen excitedly nodded, "daddy I love it here. I also saw mommy but she told me to call her aunt Jess", Aspen complained pouting.

Hearing her daughter's words Xavier was stunned for a moment.

" What did you say? ", he asked wide eyes. " You saw mommy? "

"Yeah, it was mommy from the pictures", Aspen innocently said.

Xavier was anxious hearing those words. His heat was beating really fast. "Was it his Jade? Is she here?", his heart keep asking those questions. He looked around him to spot the woman who has stolen his sleep for the past 6 years.

" Where did you saw mommy? ", Xavier asked.

" She was there a moment ago", Aspen directed her little fingers in a direction. Xavier immediately went there but couldn't find the woman he was looking for. Suddenly his eyes caught a familiar brunette hair. As he was going to follow someone's shoulder suddenly hit his shoulder. For a moment his eyes lost focus from the brunette shillioutte and looked at the person who hit him. The person apologized. Accepting the apology he again looked at the direction where he saw the familiar brunette hair but it was nowhere to be found. Dejected Xavier went to Sam and told him about the situation. He asked him to search for a woman name Jess in here. Sam only nodded his head. The biggest problem to find the person is that Jess could be a Nick name. Without a last name it would be like looking for a pin in a desert. They bid their goodbyes to Mr Lu and went to their hotel.

This time Xavier said to himself, "if you are my Jade, I'll definitely find you. This time I won't let you down".
