Sitting back at the bleachers, I was fine with losing but I knew later that either Shinso or Izuku questioning me would be inevitable. I knew that explaining to Izuku would be easy but Shinso not so much. . . Oh well, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Right now it was Katsuki and Eijiro's time to shine and so far it looked like Katsuki was gonna outlast Eijiro's offensive attack.

Soon it was time for the last two matches And Izuku made it back and sat next to me and Uraraka.

"Hey Midoriya, I take it that surgery went well." Tsu was the first to announce Izuku's arrival as I just kept my head down.

"Yeah, recovery girl was able to heal me enough to walk." I looked to his leg as he sat and noticed the bandages.

I guess we gotta keep up appearances.

I felt a nudge on my side and looked to see Izuku's eyes. He gave me a smile and as usual, I couldn't stay mad for too long, so I just gave him a pat on the shoulder and said,

"You gotta stop with the heart attacks Izuku. Think of your poor mother." That made him crack a smile while Uraraka, Tsu and Mineta chuckle a little and soon our attention pulled was back to the ring. It was time for Shoto and Iida to compete.

Things actually seemed to be going well for Iida, even when he was cornered by walls of ice, he managed to land a good hit on Shoto. Iida was so close to throwing Shoto out of the ring but, Shoto wasn't a one trick pony. He managed to freeze Ioda before being tossed out of the ring and effectively winning the match. All in all, it was a good fight, but now it was time for Tokoyami and Kastuki to face each other.

This match was definitely different from the last. Katsuki was back on offense while Dark Shadow was working his shadowy ways to protect Tokoyami. It was a quick match since Dark Shadow can't stand light for too long, leaving Tokoyami to surrender.

The final match was upon us and knowing Katsuki, anyone above him or remotely close to his skill level meant an intense fight. To me, this was a way of how Katsuki levels with other people and finds out where they are on his pecking order. . . weird but plausible.

Anyways, the match was definitely filled with tension and everyone was loving every bit of it. Shoto wasted no time when it came to his attacks, he started off by encasing Katsuki in a giant Ice shard like before except for one small detail. Izuku explained it as being cautious of Katsuki which was a good tactic . . . till he broke through the ice. Soon both boys began to launch at each other, As Shoto went in for another attack, Kastuki narrowly avoided it and instead grabbed both Shoto's hair and shoulder and proceeded to attempt a slam down but that wasn't going to take down Shoto so easily. Shoto used the momentum to surf on his own ice to avoid the fall out zone.

As their surf war raged on a moment of interest caught Aizawa's eye from the announcer's booth. Katsuki apparently manipulated Shoto into grabbing is arm with his ice side, coaxing him into using his fireside.

Now I understand. Kastuki doesn't just want to win this, He wants to win this with Shoto at his best. Which means getting him to use fire. Weird way to be ballsy.

"You bastard! I'll tell you what'll happen if you make a fool outa me!" Katsuki's shouting broke my train of that as he continued to threaten Shoto.

"I'll Kill you! I don't want there to be any doubt that I'm the best student at the festival. That's only possible with everything you got! There's no point if you don't use the same power on me like you used against Deku! If you don't wanna win this, then why are you even here!? Show everyone that you're trying to destroy me!" With that, he took a running stride towards Shoto ready for a brutal attack.
