Gerard listened to me closely, nodding his head. He had no facial expression, and he was barley even blinking. I could see him fiddling with his fingers. "And now I'm here, talking to you." I finished. "Wow..." He whispered, leaning back in his seat. "Yeah. Its kind of a hellish life. My mom is a good for nothin' free loader." I sighed, scratching the top of my head. "C'mon, Don't say that now." Gerard said sternly. "Well she is." I insisted. Gerard bit his lower lip once again. He stared down at his hands. I wasn't sure if he was thinking or what. "Okay, I gotta get going. My mom is probably wasted out of her mind." I said. I stood from my seat and collected my bag. There was no point in taking the pizza. It was probably cold and tough by now. "You really gotta go now Robin? I just started to take a liking to you." Gerard said, grinning widely. I tilted my head. What he had said was like a punch in the face. I was surprised, shocked and overwhelmed all at once. "Thats nice... But I gotta go." I said faintly. Gerard stumbled to his feet and rushed towards me. "I'll come with you then." "Oh no no no, don't be silly." I replied shaking my head. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm coming with you." He pushed on, laughing. "Okay fine!" I gave in. I walked out of the pizza store and felt Gerard right on my tail. I turned around and looked at him quickly. He stuffed his hands into his pockets and smiled weakly. I just simply smiled back. I was worried about bring Gerard to me and my moms place. I mean, we just met. I was more so concerned about my mom. What if she was an idiot to him? "Well here we are." I sighed, walking up to the front door.
