Luke's POV
'I think im going to New York musical college' Zoe said attmitedly. What? If Zoe is going there i just know Molly is going two. They come as a package and well, they have been dreaming of going to lie together and allways being with eachother for ages. I saw Jai gently stand and walk upstairs. A few moments later i heard a door slam shut. Shortly after, Zoe ran up after Jai banging on the door begging him to talk to her. Molly quickly stood up and tried to walk out the room, she wasn't getting away that easy. I grabbed her arm, maybe a little too hard.
'Your going with her too aren't you' I said looking deep into her eyes, gritting my teeth. I know she can't lie to me when i look her straight in the eyes. Molly decided to admire her shoes and thats when i knew. Water was puring down her face but i really didn't care, i was so angry and upset that she didn't tell me. I grabbed the keys of the side andto drie somewhere, anywhere but here. I started the engine when i heard.
'W-w-wait Luke!' I heard Molly cry after me. I stepped on the peddle, then Molly threw herself infront of the car. I smashed right into her and she landed on the bonet of the car. I was oer come by shock. I jumped out the car racing oer to Molly.
'Your going to be okay Molly, just stay with me' I say holding back my tears.
'I love you Luke' I heard Molly whisper before her eyes closed.
'Call the ambulance!' I shout to everyone who was standing in the doorway. I just stayed with her, clutching her hand and looking at her just lying there. I didn't hit her too hard, but she hit her head on the bonnet pretty hard, pluss, when she is worried she holds her breath, that doesn't make things any better..
When the ambulance finally get here they start asking me loads of questions like, 'how was she hit? What speed were you going at? What time did it happen? Whats your name? Whats her name? Whats her fate of birth? Who are you to her?' Then when they finally took her to hospital i rode in the ambulance with her so i would be there if she woke up.
We finally got to the hospital and it turns out Molly needed to have a few scans, they think she may have some memory loss, but they don't know. I waited at the hospital for about 4 hours. It is now 12am and Molly still hasn't come out of all her scans and blood tests. Jai and Zoe walk through the door and walk over to me. I stand up and hold them both, i really needed that.
'Do you need a coffee Luke?' Zoe asks.
'Nah, he likes tea. I'll get it' Jai says walking over to the machine. Zoe sits next to me and holds my hand.
'She will be okay. I mean, she has survived loads, she will be fine' Zoe says.
'Loads meaning?' I ask in a weak tired voice.
'Well, when she was 2, she broke her arm, 3 she almost drowned, 5 broke her wrist, 9 cracked her head open, 12 broke her arse, 14 knocked out her tooth, 15 she er was diagnosed with skin cancer' Zoe said.
'Skin Cancer?' I say feeling shocked.
'Yeah, she has a pigament in her skin which is sensative to UV light and she developed cancer from it. She had an operation and it has gone now but it might come back' Zoe says. Why hadn't i ever been told of this?
'How can you break your arse?' I laugh.
'She makes the impossible, possible. She fell down the stairs on her arse then couldnt sit down for like a week' Zoe laughs reminising the memory.
'Oh god..'I say
'Here you go Luke' Jai says handing me the tea.
'Thanks Jai' I say pretty much downing it in one
'Youv'e seemed to cheer him up a little Zo' Jai said to her kissing her softly on the forehead. I wish i had Molly to do that too.
'Er.. Mr Brooks?' a blonde nurse said walking through the door. I stand immediatly.
'Yes?' I reply energeticly.
'You may see her now' She says leading the way. I follow her with Zoe and Jai trailing behind. The nurse opens the door and points in the direction in which Molly was. I looked over to see Molly's bright green eyes staring into mine. Hers were full of pain. She had a yellow face and was dressed in a gown, i walked over to her quickly.
'Hey, how are you? What did they say? Are you okay? Im so sorry Molly' I say. Words just spilled from my mouth and i could feel tears building in my eyes.
'Woah, slow down soldier' Molly gigles in a worn-out voice.
'Im sorry Molly, i truely am. Are you alright then?' I ask rambling on again.
'It's fine Luke and im fine too' Molly manages to croak.
'Would you like some water?' I ask her. She nods and i pour her a glass. I gently hand her the cup and she manages to get it all down her...
'Oh Molly, can you go anywhere without an accident' i tease while getting some tissue
'Seems unlikely' she giggles. I wipe the spilt water from Molly's chest and her neck.
'Thanks Luke'
'Anything for my Molly' i say. Molly weakly smiles at me, then i bring her hand up to my mouth and kiss it.
'I love you Molly' i say
'I love you too Luke' she smiles back. Thats when i realised i could have a future with Molly
