*Kaede*: dance the night away

The ballroom was huge. I walked into the room nervously. I saw Mikan and Tsumugi huddled up giggling about something. Korekiyo was using rope to dance with Angie. She looked very stern as she told him Atua wouldn't like that very much. Keebo was doing the robot and Soda was studying him. I saw Rantaro and Maki exactly where Maki said they would be. By the avocado cupcakes. Rantaro took a big bite of one grinning when Miu ran up to him. She grabbed his hand and they ran out the room.

By the time I got over to Maki I decided it was better not to bother them.She looked amazing. She wore a red ball gown and her hair was in a complex bun. When she saw me she grinned. " You just missed Rantaro."

"Yeah I know he was with Miu. Aren't you going to dance with Kaito." I teased the shorter girl. Rather than yell at me she grinned.

"I have no idea where he went. But I promised we'd slow dance." I've never seen her so happy. "So you and my brother huh?"

"We're just friends."

"Friends who kiss." Maki made kissing faces and came close to my face.

"Gross."

We laughed into we ran out of breathe. "You know Rantaro loves you but he just wants you to be honest he knows Miu is Panta. Talk to me later I see Kaito." Maki ran away excited.

Wait he thinks what?

Panic filled me as I stood in shock. That's why they're together. I had to tell Rantaro the truth. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and saw a drunken Kokichi with a ton of lipstick kisses on his face.

"Kokichi what happened?"

"I've just got a whole lot of loving."

"Kokichi have you seen Miu and Rantaro."

"Who fucking cares." I never heard him swear before. "He thinks she's Panta. Let him go and be forced to have sex with her. I don't care." He slurred.

"Wait what Kokichi?"

"She's got vodka, and boobs. Nishishi they're going to have a good old time." He then fell into Tenko's arms. Her eyes were wide and fearful. She was one of the few other people who hung out with Kokichi. Her girlfriend Himiko was showing magic tricks to Gundham.

" I demand you find your friend now. He may be a degenerate male but I want nothing more for him to be safe. Find him." Tenko said dragging Kokichi away. "Her room number is 309." She screamed after me.

I was running out the ballroom when Shuichi grabbed my hand. "Woah there Cinderella it's time for the slow dance." Shuichi was blushing hard.

I considered it. Maybe Rantaro would be fine? Maybe Kokichi was over exaggerating?

I wanted nothing more than to dance with Shuichi.

"No."
