((I hate how I have to say this, but there will be no romance between Aizawa and Touya. Like. That's gross— Aizawa is just trying to comfort him and be the best dad that we all know he is.))
"Hey-" Aizawa looked confused as Touya stumbled out from the room, absolutely heartbroken. His eyes were red, and he sobbed while his body shook violently.
Worried about his quirk having an outbreak from the sudden increase in emotion, Aizawa stared at him and erased his quirk, then moving over and grabbing his shoulder.
He winced in response, whipping his head to the side to meet Aizawa's eyes, something he never usually had the courage to do.
"Touya, You need to-"
Touya cut him off, which was also uncharacteristic.
"I wanna get away from them—" he gestured towards the door, referring to Endeavor and Hawks. "I'm so- I'm dumb— I know I should be talking to them, and...p-please?" He managed to choke out a few words between the sobbing, turning towards aizawa and burying his head in his chest, clutching onto his shirt was dear life.
Aizawa dropped his quirk temporarily, blinking as he put a hand on Touya's back. He still assumed the kid was scared of him, so he must've been really upset to push that aside. He wasn't sure what the heroes said to him, but he knew it wasn't right. Nothing should cause a reaction like that in a child.
He didn't mind the kid sobbing into his shirt, really, but it did make him feel bad for the boy. He didn't deserve whatever happened to him, that much was clear. But the world isn't a nice place, no matter how hard it's inhabitants try to make it.
He removed Touya away from his body, just a little bit, hand still on his back as he started to lead him towards the teacher's lounge.
The room was only a few doors away from where they previously were, so it wasn't long before Aizawa grabbed the knob and pushed Touya inside.
The two were met with the eyes of three others. Two of Aizawa's students; who often fought with eachother, and Allmight himself.
Except- the lesser version, Toshinori Yagi."Condolences for interrupting." Aizawa grumbled, though he didn't mean it and the three were aware. He turned Touya away from the Others, forcing him down onto a chair.
The boy buried his head in his hands, trying to ignore the fact that people were staring at him while he was crying uncontrollably.
"What the hell—" Bakugou squinted at the red haired boy, unsure what to do. He, Izuku, and Toshinori were having a pretty important conversation, but this kid- Shoto's brother, didn't look like he was going to stop crying anytime soon. He wondered what made him upset, but didn't seemingly give a shit.
Aizawa seemed worried though, which isn't a look any of the three liked to see on the teacher's face. He rarely revealed emotions like that, so something must've been seriously wrong.
"Sensei? I-is everything okay?" Izuku croaked out, cautiously looking between Aizawa and Toshinori—who looked extremely confused.
Bakugou made eye contact with Shoto's older brother, his eyes fuming with anger that Touya didn't quite understand.
Even with tears streaming down his face, Touya looked at Bakugou and raised an eyebrow, his eyes wide as if terrified.
Aizawa turned around towards the three, crossing his arms against his chest.
"Out. Now." His tone was deadly harsh and to the point, even more so than usual. The two boys looked at each other, then at Toshinori. The blonde's blue eyes wandered towards the exit, and he nodded, giving them permission to leave. The two turned and left, though muttering incoherently amongst themselves.
The door slammed shut, making Touya's trembling get worse. He slouched over and grabbed a fistful of his own crimson hair, tugging it until his scalp screamed at him to stop.
Toshinori's face was tainted with concern. He'd always felt bad for the Todoroki kids, feeling responsible for their awful upbringings. He was the reason Endeavor wanted a powerful child, so that said kid could surpass all might like the fire hero himself could not. It was a bad thing to think about, but he couldn't help feeling extremely guilty when he looked at any of those kids.
Especially this dead one, who was currently having a mental breakdown.
Aizawa sat down next to the child, a hand slowly placed on his back to try comforting him. Toshinori wasn't used to seeing the dark haired man anything but grumpy, and it took every fiber of his being to not gasp out in surprise.
Touya suddenly shifted, letting go of his hair and grabbing into Aizawa. The boy started to cry into his shirt like before, clutching the black fabric on his chest.
Aizawa, of course, made no move to stop him, instead starting to rub his back with the hand he had on him, his other sitting upon the boy's head. He wasn't an affectionate person, and he certainly didn't seem like it. But he had a soft spot for kids, especially kids who had suffered a lot. Being an underground hero, someone who dealt with drugs, kidnappings, pedophiles, abusers/mistreatment, and etc, he had witnessed distressed children quite often.
And while he certainly wouldn't go around hugging every sad kid or person he saw, it was a known fact to most that he would intervene if something was seriously wrong. Even his own class knew this by now.
Touya, however, had no idea. If he wasn't so overcome with sadness, anger, and self deprecation, he might've screamed with just how confused he was. But for the time being he sat there, his nerves starting to calm from Aizawa's small attempts to do so.
He felt guilty.
Guilty that he killed himself.
Guilty that he had left Natsuo, Fuyumi, and Shoto alone under Endeavor's abuse and mistreatment.
Guilty that by opting out, Endeavor was right about him. He always was weak— nothing but a crybaby.
Guilty that he had brought grief to his mother, which she admitted she felt even if the two had a rocky relationship for a while.
He hated it.
((This is short, I'm sorry. The next chapter will be a little different, you'll see. ))
