((Alrighty. Finally got this done. Expect slow updates like this, though. School's starting back up for me. But there will at least be one every month. ))
((Suicide mention warning.))
Touya woke up to a sharp pain radiating from the pale skin on his face, right below his left, bottom eyelid. It felt like a scrape, but it was enough to somehow make both of his eyes sore as they fluttered open.
His bright blue eyes tried scanning the room, but it was hard to see from the lack of light. He looked down at arms, where the faint outline of leather restraints covered his wrists.
He tried pulling upwards, but his arms wouldn't move, so he quickly gave up. His legs also seemed to be bound to the chair he was on from the ankles, because he couldn't move those limbs either. He could feel the uncomfortable material rubbing against his skin, wincing slightly.
"Hello???" The boy's frantic voice cut through the air.
There was silence.
But the more he listened, the more could hear.
Background noises.
Dripping. Was it water, perhaps? A leaky pipe?
Even the faint, familiar giggling of a teenage girl could be heard, and that was perhaps the most unnerving sound tainting the room's atmosphere.
"Himiko." He stated matter of factly, much to his own surprise. Why'd he say that name?
Maybe the girl's name was Himiko. He had a feeling it was, and he absolutely no idea why.
"Huuhhhh—?? And how'd you know that, strawberry? I never even told youuu." She made her way over to a light switch and pressed down on it, a singular lamp in the corner of the room lighting up with a yellow color.
Touya couldn't see perfectly, obviously, but he could definitely see enough. 'Himiko' was a short girl with yellow, cat like eyes and blonde hair tied up into two extremely messy buns. She seemed to be pouting.
He shifted uncomfortably— well, tried to, it was hard when he was literally being restrained down into a heavy wooden chair.
"I just know, I...I...don't know why, I'm sorry-" He stopped talking when he saw something shiny slip from Himiko's sleeve, closing his eyes quickly after that, expecting to he stabbed.
But no additional pain ever came, much to Touya's surprise.
"What's on your face??" She questioned, speaking up after a whole minute of silence. She pointed a finger at the redish brown burns scattered along his face. Mainly under his eyes and above his jawline.
Figuring he wasn't going to get stabbed for the time being, Touya opened his eyes. "Burns. Now, why am I here? Can I please go back? Whatever you think I did, I-I didn't—"
Toga laughed at his pleading, a wide fanged grin plastered onto her face. She looked creepy, yeah, but genuinely happy like some ecastic personified cat, and the sight of it struck more chords in the boy's brain.
"Hey, hey, shiggy! He's up!" Himiko shouted, leaning even closer to Touya's face. "He still smells familiar!"
Touya didn't know what she was smelling, but he elected to ignore that, not wanting to freak himself out even more. The name 'shiggy' however, gave him an unexplainable headache. He had a feeling he wasn't going to like whoever himiko was talking to.
A man with matted and curly light blue hair approached, his messy bangs covering most of his face, only exposing the bottom of his nose and his mouth with noticeably dry lips.
