(Start in the Underground Maze. The gang is walking together.)
Cameron-How long have we been down here?
Daph-Nii-Forever, probably.
Cameron-That's not true, and you know it.
Daph-Nii-I'm sorry. It's just that I have zero perception of time right now. I haven't seen the sun in what I assume are days.
Junko-Did someone say sun?
Daph-Nii-Junko, don't.
(JUNKO raises her spear. A blinding light comes from it.)
Daph-Nii-This isn't what I meant by sun!
Saralyn-We're getting sidetracked. Look!
(She points at the door in front of them.)
Daph-Nii-A dead end.
Junko-Crap.
(Zoom in on the diamond-shaped hole in the door.)
Cameron-But what's this hole in the wall?
Daph-Nii-Oh, I used to love that show.
Saralyn-Ah, that jewel we picked up!
Cameron-What jewel? I wasn't there.
Daph-Nii-Cameron! This is what you get for falling in a hole!
Saralyn-Speaking of holes...
(She extracts the jewel from her sleeve and places it in the hole. The door opens. JUNKO gasps.)
Junko-How magical...
Daph-Nii-All right! Now we can go through!
Cameron-Thanks, Counselor Obvious.
Daph-Nii-Finally, someone gets it right.
(They pass through the door. Opening theme. They look all around them. There's nothing but sand.)
Daph-Nii-You know with a dramatic door like that, there's usually something dramatic on the other side.
Junko-Huh. I wonder what it is.
Daph-Nii-Let's just keep walking. We'll probably find it.
(Cut to PAM's lair inside the cave. PAM is sitting atop a pile of treasure laughing.)
Pam-Wharharhar!
(DAPH-NII, CAMERON, SARALYN, and JUNKO are standing at the bottom of the pile looking up at her.)
Daph-Nii-Oh, hey. Who you be?
(PAM notices the mere mortals below her.)
Pam-What are you lookin' at?
Daph-Nii-That pile of treasure directly beneath you. It looks an awful lot like a pile of stolen treasure, and you look an awful lot like a genie, and I heard this rumor that a rich lady got all her treasure stolen. By a genie. So I just put two and two together and...
Junko-Give all that treasure back!
Pam-Pfft, come off it, kid! This whole desert is my turf! What belong to the townspeople belongs to me! Now run along home!
(DAPH-NII removes the lamp from her satchel.)
Daph-Nii-(in a sing-song tone) If you won't listen to reason, maybe Mr. Lampy will be a bit more convincing.
Cameron-Uh, Daph-Nii, you didn't really use reason to begin with-
Pam-Oh snap! The lamp! H-heh...There's no way you could know how it works...
