"Tell them how i know you."
Calum had offered to join you and Ashton on the ride to Lukes place tonight, You tied getting a hold of Michael and Vanna but there was no answer, meaning they were still keeping it low key, You told your mom you were going to see Luke again but this time she wasn’t to sure about the idea but she allowed it anyway, You, Ashton and Calum panned to meet in Ashtons backyard later tonight when it was dark.
You hopped out of the shower and checked your phone, 3 missed calls from Vanna, You smiled and quickly got dressed, you called again and she finally answered this time, you ask what she has been up to and she seemed sad on the phone and you asked if she wanted to talk about it but like always she just changed the subject.
"Why did you call me so many times?" She asks
"Well.. I was worried about you, I haven’t talked or seen you in a while." You explain
"You saw me at the mall like two days ago…." She says, You didn’t even realize that she saw you looking at her, You wondered if maybe she saw Calum also…
""I wanted to tell you i found more evidence at Roman’s place, Ashton’s taking me and Cal to see Luke tonight and i was wondering if you wanted to come along." I say.
"No thanks. I already saw Luke Last night. I’m not feeling well and i have to go." She says and before you could say anything she hung up the phone. Why was she with Luke last night and why didn’t she tell you.
You jumped at the sound of banging on your front door, You were the only one home so you tip toed down the stairs,a bit too scared to answer the door. The banging got louder and as you got to the door and looked out the peephole your body relaxed when you saw that it was just Ashton, you opened the door and he looked terrified.
"The news! Turn on the news!" He yells as he runs into your living room, you grab the remote and turn it to the news channel and your heart began beating fast when a burning house appeared on the screen, The house Luke was hiding out in.
"A house was set a blaze early this morning just a few hours away. Paramedics and Fire fighters showed up to put out the flames, No one knows how the fire was started or who started it, Luckily there was no one in side. It took 4 hours to finally stop the fire, and it appears that the house is empty Research indicate that the owner of the house is Mr. John Hankins, Mr.Hankins has told reporters that he owned the house for his son to have when he graduated and he is uncertain as to who set the fire, We will be giving more updates later this afternoon." The lady says. And you and Ash just look at each other.
"We need to go talk to vanna." Ashton says.
"I already did, She didn’t talk much and i asked about luke and she told me she saw last night." You say
"So she probably knows where he is." He says
"Probably, but she’s not talking to any of us." You say
"She works today, We can go to her job and ask." He explains and you just agree with his plan, You grab you bag and phone and slip you shoes on and head to the mall where Vanna works, Luckily you and Ash bumped into Calum , You told calum what was going on and he was shocked at the news and was just as freaked out as the rest of you, You told him you guys were going to talk to Vanna about it and even though he was a bit unsure at first he agreed to come along, You walked into the shop Vanna was working in You looked over at her and She was with a costumer, She looked happy but she was obviously faking it, You noticed a bruise forming on her thigh and one on her jawline and you prayed like hell it wasn’t because of her dad.
