Chapter 17
"And do you know this Hemmings boy?" The cop asks,
"No sir, My sister went to school with him and those group of other kids who are helping him, I was shopping yesterday and on my way back home i spotted them on the side of the road and as i slowed down i saw them." You explain
"which road did you see them on?" He asks.
"The one just an hour out of town, You know the dirt road, The one closest to those empty houses that were abandoned years ago." You say.
"Do you think they are hiding out there?" The cop asks and you shrug your shoulders.
"Can you ride with me and my partner and show us where they were last seen?" He asks and you nod your head.
The ride to the place was making you anxious but you had to do what you had to do. As you and the two cops drive up to the group of house that were abandoned years ago they told you to stay in the car as they headed toward them, you were left in the car alone as you watched the two men walking around the houses as they peeped through the windows and knocking on the doors.
You jumped and gasped as the car door swung open and someone grabbed your arm and your heart began to beat as Michael pulled you out and slammed you against the side of the car.
"Who are you and why are those cops snooping around?" He asks You shrug your shoulders and he reached for your hood and sunglasses but you push his hand away and you began screaming for the cops, Before he began running he reached for your glasses again and he yanked them off, He was looking right at you, his jaw dropping, He looked shocked and confused as to why your were hear and why you looked like a completely different person.
"You should run Mikey." You calmly say and he takes a few steps back and he runs around and runs off and disappears before the cops got back.
"What? Whats wrong?" one the cops ask.
"I’m sorry i just thought i saw something but its just my eyes playing tricks on me." You say with a nervous laugh and the cops nod and the three of you get into the car.
When you make it back to the station the cops thank you for you participation and you head off back home. And as you walk into your house you get ambushed by your parent as they begin asking all these questions like “What the hell happened to your hair? Where have you been all day? you had us worried sick! Wipe all that makeup of your beautiful face! What has gotten into you lately?”
You simply just rolled your eyes and marched you ass up to your room and as soon as you take a step into your room, You door slams behind you and someone grabs your arm and slams you up against your bedroom door and it was Michael once again.
"geez mikey what is with you and pushing me into things?" You ask.
