Evan and Connor have been neighbors for as long as they could remember. They've always gone to the same school and they're parents were best friends. Which meant many dinners were spent at each other's house. Evan and Connor's windows faced each other and were only 30 feet apart, so if they yelled loud enough, they could carry conversations into the night. Lately, Connor has been figuring out ways to get over to Evan's while his mom is at work. They plotted a way to get one of Larry's latters out of the garage and next to Evans window. All was working fine until tonight.Evan sat at his vanity, typing away on his computer and arguing with Connor. The boy had an really bad argument with his parents, something about drugs and how Connor is never home, little did they know 99% of the time he didn't come home at night is because he was sleeping at Evan's. But Connor couldn't tell them that because they don't let Connor sleepover at Evan's house. All because he told them he was gay. Evan supported him through all of it and even came out himself, his mom was a lot more understanding, but the same rule applied to him.
ConnorM: I'm going to run away.
Treebro: Connor that's a terrible idea. I know that's what you think is smart but I promise you it's not.
Plus, if you did I wouldn't ever see you again. I love you.
Evan went back before pressing send. He couldn't say that. Especially not now. The boy sighed and ran his hands over his face and opened his window next to where he was sitting. Gazing through the window, Evan could see that Connor's light was off. He shook his head to clear his thoughts. Maybe running way is what is best for Connor? Evan needed to think outside himself. He slumped back down in his chair and stared at the computer screen. When it became to unbearable to look at, and the send button looked so longingly at him, Evan closed and rubbed his eyes, sitting there for a moment.
"You should've sent that. I would've been over faster." A voice said in Evan's ear. Evan's eyes snapped open and he screamed, standing up. There was Connor, long hair in a low bun and leaning into his window, looking at Evan's computer, reading everything. But the sudden movement and noise spooked Connor and his foot slipped on the latter, causing him to fall slightly and knock the latter over, suspending him in the air and hanging onto the window sill. The latter fell to the ground in a big crash, loud enough to send Larry running, Evan thought. He snapped to his senses and ran to help his best friend dangling out of his second story window. Evan grabbed his hand and Connor swung a foot up, both pulling desperately to get the tall, lanky boy inside before anyone saw him. Suddenly, Connor fell free into the room and Evan toppled over and fell on his back, Connor fell right on top of him. Evan's eyes widened at how close they were: they're legs intertwined and Connor leaning over him, bun now messy and loose hairs falling down into his face. Butterflies made Evan's stomach turn.
"That was graceful." Connor laughed. Evan giggled as a red blush tinted his cheeks.
Connor did what he wanted to do for forever, and since he read the unsent text, he felt confident with it. The tall boy leaned down and kissed Evan. Gently and softly but still hungerly. Evan instantly felt fireworks go off in his brain and he kissed back. Connor pulled away and smiled.
"Damn that was so much better than I imagined." Evan accidentally thought aloud. Connor blushed and so did Evan when he realized what he'd done.
"You took the words right out of my mouth." Connor leaned down and kissed him again, this time harder and more lustful than anything. Evan wrapped his arms around Connor's neck and pulled him as close as possible, and wishing he sent that text sooner.
"Please don't leave me." Evan pleaded as he pulled away for air.
"Never again." Connor answered, pressing a kiss on the shorter boy's forehead and getting up, helping the other up also. Evan wrapped his arms around the taller boy's waist and burried his head in shirt. Connor wrapped his arms around Evan and set his chin on top of his head, taking in his scent. "I won't ever."
