Whoever said life will be easy once you've reached "adulthood" obviously lied to you. There you were struggling to enter the first day of freshmen year, bags, almost slipping, as you kicked your luggage as hard as you could "Fucking great" you muttered, realizing you were headed the wrong direction.

A sigh was released, accepting this is probably something Mother Nature has been cooking up for you. You took a couple steps remembering this school was your ticket out from your boring old town. Now you're not so sure.

Many people held conversations as you glance over at their faces, hoping some one would come to your rescue. Suddenly a girl approached the area you had been occupying for what seem like forever. You thought she waved, but that failed miserably as that same girl walks by you, greeting whoever she planned to meet there and it definitely wasn't you.

Deciding to let it go you return to the piece of paper that you were scanning minutes ago or at least trying to. It was so different here you thought as you, scrunched up your face, in the most annoying expression, bringing your fingers to your head and scratching it for some sort of push to come up with a plan that didn't involve calling your mother.

"Building T" you whisper to yourself.

When you told your mom you had it covered you knew deep down you weren't being honest. What you wanted was for her to walk you through it all. Take you to your dorm, help you settle in and even checkout if your roommate was a trustworthy person, but instead you insisted you'd manage and she was just taking up your time. By now you were sitting on a bench, your belongings stacked up as you studied that same map one more time.
Just when you were about to get up some one had bumped into you, causing you to fall back where you were sitting seconds ago. You wanted to curse, no you wanted to curse and yell at whoever dared to be the cherry on top to your worst possible day ever. There you were stumbling, over the bench with your legs up in the air, convincing yourself this school wasn't only your ticket way out, it was also your own personal hell.

Maybe your dad was right for once and you thanked him for telling you shorts would be less of a problem today. A hand had been reaching out for yours, patiently waiting until the figure noticed your eyes were shut.
"You know if you just take my hand you will probably save less seconds from  being filmed" his voice was low, and you'd think it would be the opposite, but no it was equally the same as his face. You grabbed the strangers hand not wanting to open your eyes once you were confronting him, feeling embarrassed.

"You can open your eyes now" he says, and you being the dramatic person you are shook your head, keeping your eyes close. "No thank you I'll j-just sit here" you mumbled, roaming your hands around the air, seeking for the bench you were recently using.

That made the boy laugh, he had no intentions on being a nosy person, but he couldn't just leave you there and humiliate yourself even more than you already did. You heard him yelling out for students to stop recording you, warning them bullying was far too low for "adults" and that they should head to their dorms before he put a complaint that'll jeopardize having that privilege.

Something in you told you to stop being such an awkward mess and at least thank the stranger for helping you. Finally you opened your eyes being met with the most beautiful smile. He wasn't the same as the boys back home, his causal look almost fooled you, and when he smiled like that it made you want to grab his cheeks, thanking him for even existing.
Instead you "T-thank you for that" stuttered, attempting to return him a smile and failing halfway through, dangling your hand as you held onto your elbow with the other, you looked up at him once more and was again in shock with that smile of his, the boy pulled out his hand and chuckled "Xiaojun, and who may I have the pleasure of meeting?" You instantly, greeted him, shaking his hand for a little too much to Xiaojun's liking, but he let it slide.
"Y/n, it's very nice to meet you" You say, as you pull your hand away, you were speechless then realized, Xiaojun wasn't saying much either so you decided to ask. I mean the worst that could happen is him not wanting to assist you. "Umm ... excuse me do you happen to know where building T is located?" Your voice coming out rather louder this time, made the boy smile even more and nodded "Lucky for you that's exactly where I'm going" your eyes widen at his words, thinking maybe luck was on your side today.
"Here let me-" Xiaojun, grabbed the luggage that was on the floor, as you brought up the bag you've been wanting to fix and then followed him "So is this your first year?" He questions while the both of you walk inside a building that was of course opposite of where you were going. "Is it that obvious?" You shamelessly answer, the guy laughed slightly turning to where you were standing and ruffled your hair "It's my first year as well just took a tour before school was in session" that made you shot him the widest smile, and remembered you had gotten an email offering you the same, but you had declined considering you were too far.

"Let me see your paper, and make sure you don't walk in the wrong room or something" Agreeing with Xiaojun, you gave him your room info and listened as he read out loud "Room 11 hmm ... seems like this is your stop, I'm above you" he shares with you right as he's about to open the door some one beats him to it. Sure you've heard of male and females being roommates, but you never imagined you'd be one of those people. How can you possibly share rooms with some who looks like that? The guy smiles at you then shifts his eyes to, Xiaojun.

"Funny seeing you here" his deep voice says as he continues to stare, the guy standing next to you up and down.

"Lucas?"
