A hasty wind had shifted its way towards the not so sunny day, blanketing everyone who still occupied an area that wasn't currently being sheltered. Typical for young adults to be out regardless of how horrible the weather had picked up, crowds of adolescents filled cafes that were still open for business along with gaming ones. From afar distant you're able to hear a rather pissed off, Dejun walking side by side by no other than his best friend, Kun. Navy blue hairs stuck out from the left side meanwhile the rest were neatly styled, he nodded at almost every word, listening to the smaller carry-on with his never-ending rant. The older was unsure of how long this would last but found it quite beneficial on his end since he'd rather have Xiaojun talk instead of struggling to juggle between topics.

The breeze crept through the ends of his sleeve as he soon drifted off imagining everyone's face while their little dispute took place. It wasn't a normal day if his group of friends and Hendery's didn't fight or had some sort of argument, it's been this way ever since their parents married. "Can you believe that pest had the nerve to disrespect me in front of her, he isn't getting away with this one" Xiaojun, wiped both sets of buds, going for another drink of water. A burning fiery electrical wave covered every fiber in him, taunting him not to pull out his device and dial his brother's number, demanding to bring back the girl before allowing their father to step in. What's the worse that could happen anyway?

"I think you should let this one go, sure, Chittaphon was out of line, but it's just a girl, Xiao, please don't stoop so low for her, I assure you, there's plenty of options out there" Kun would then release a chuckle, roaming around the twinkling neighborhood, he'd grip onto the strap of his backpack, dark almonds wandering to whatever caught his attention.

Curiosity surely got the best of him leaving the guy wondering who this mystery girl was and why did it make his closest friend act, unlike his usual careless persona. He can't recall when was the last time, Dejun has been this wired up due to, the rascals as they labeled Hendery's little gang. The slimmer figure only agreed, running a hand through the various strands of hair, following the other's gaze, he tilted his head, eyes completely wide once he got a good glimpse of the people he's been desperate to bump into, Xiaojun was seconds from marching in there and taking, Y/n with him when suddenly, Kun yanked the boy back, dragging both of them to the opposite direction. "It's not worth it, I'm telling you" he warned once more, shifting his view from the guy in front of him and the cafe.

"Nice to meet you, Yangyang" you gave a slight bow, before entering the restaurant tailing behind, Hendery certain he was the only person who seemed more reasonable to be around with. Yang had greeted you swiftly, returning to his brother who can't comprehend sarcasm no matter how many times, he has explained it. The dark-haired male smiled at you, ushering you to continue sliding into the booth while the rest made it towards your guy's table. You and Hendery carried a brief conversation about mustard and ketchup on fries, you clearly exaggerating that it wasn't all that too good unless it was hashbrown, but the other believed the contrary, stating fries had to be freshly fried for it to taste good. You swung your head in disapproval with your new friend's defense letting a sigh escape, soon giggling at how silly the conversation must be looked at to anyone who was either eavesdropping or happened to accompany you. Ten was in the middle of scolding the youngest of their clique, ordering for him to shut up already. It hasn't even been an hour since they met up, yet so much had been happening, Lucas was too busy using his phone to even notice the little quarrel that was going on beside him, either way, he'd rather not get involved if it meant avoiding, Ten's death glare. However, Yangyang found, thrill out of it.

"Ketchup is the only thing I'll be adding to my french fries now shut it, Hen" with that, Ten took the empty spot next to you, leaving Hendery on the other side. Immediately you would flip to be met with his irises staring back at you as if he was waiting for you to give him the attention he obviously, deserved. Why can't I read you, dammit you pondered over the perplex aura he transmitted, usually body language says a lot, as for Ten's, it didn't quite say much which of course left you wondering plenty of what ifs. He was either serious or being sarcastic about situations so, yes you were conflicted about figuring out what type of person he truly was. "I forgot you detest mustard" Yang blurted, dipping some bread into honey snapping you right out of your haze. You'd gulp, flickering your gaze to the wooden table, doodling circles while everyone's voices suddenly became echoes. Hendery couldn't help smiling at the little scene he was provided with, putting the puzzle together on what was going on, he was probably the only one who saw it and chose to keep quiet. He'd prefer to watch the drama unfold.

"So what are you getting, Y/n?" an arm was placed over you, the tips of their fingers poking your cheek a form to bring your undivided attention on them, you giggled already knowing who was being a little too playful. Hendery met with your head level, scrunching up his nose when he saw your beaming smile. "I'm not sure yet, Ice tea sounds good right now and maybe.." you scanned the menu trying to find a sandwich that didn't contain a variety of ingredients, "Care to share some fries and pieces of cut-up cheese sandwiches?" the boy offered, quickly you nodded a yes to him, closing the menu fully convinced with your decision.

The boys all kept it silent for far too long, whispering amongst each other on how adorable you and their friend looked together choosing a meal for the two. Yang waved at you once you scanned through the table in a result you returned the same gesture following with a small grin, you were very confused by the awkwardness of not knowing what you've missed. "You two would make a cute couple" Lucas commented, raising his eyebrow as he too was sending you a sheepish smile. The only one who didn't join in was Ten rather finding the current site annoying. He wasn't one to join in, especially with these sort of lovey-dovey scenes assuring himself it was irritating and he'd prefer scoring a few points on the new game he was currently obsessing over. "I agree, Hendery and Y/n would definitely win the cutest couple this semester" Yangyang added, hitting Ten's elbow in which the guy reacted unbothered giving a slight nod not even popping his head, and kept his gaze on the small screen.

"Ten is just jealous his hubby found a new wife" the youngest teased, nudging his older brother once more until he finally caved in and smacked, Yangyang's head, "Shut up, you made me lose, idiot" the boy rubbed the back of his head dying of laughter due to the other's reaction and finalized their order convinced he got everyone, "Jealousy is a disease get better sweetie" the rest laughed while Ten gave his little pest an eye roll, he could've sworn that squeaky voice couldn't get any less obnoxious the more Yangyang spoke, but he can't deny one thing his sibling's words seemed more bothersome than usual who fucking cares how cute they look together?  Ten sighed,

It left him curious about what it was that sincerely provoked his insides, he wasn't the greatest at expressing his true emotions let alone act upon them. He sat there, arm to arm with yours sensing these burning feelings in between his lower abdominal along with several mixed emotions, he had no idea how to take control. One minute he hated everyone after he just wanted to keep calm and not let it get to him, desperate to not give it any awareness then, "Just ketchup right?" you slid the plate over to his side of the table, he didn't respond glancing at the puddle of ketchup positioned right next to the fries, hesitantly he turned to you, lips pressed, unamused.
The way your plumps quivered by simply being confronted with his eyes left him wanting to discover more of you and why he was forced to hold this baggage.

Was he really this oblivious? Unfortunately, yes, yes he was.

"You didn't have to do that, but thanks, I suppose" he replied to you, looking away as soon as he saw that smile curving.
"God.. You're so damn unusual.."
