Riding wild

Chapter 4

Whenever it was the holiday Starburst and Mid would stay at my house. When I only just noticed that I'd slept in my body simply ran downstairs. Breakfast was only a couple pieces of toast.

I put my favourite purple and navy blue jodhpurs; a new top which had the British flag but was very faded; my hoodie which sayed Natalie and Starburst and my completely wrecked riding boots.

Galloping towards me was Starburst in a bid to impress. I showered him with treats because I knew Skyler had fed her and Mid.

Fast asleep in the tack/feed room I found my best friend. She was lying on a huge bag of barely. I crept towards her wondering whether I should wake her. She flinched as I tip toed too her.

Her eyes managed to open. First she glanced around trying to remember her surroundings.

"Sorry, I fell asleep while feeding but they have eaten so no worries," Skyler explained.

"Ok I believe you. Anyway shall we ride or sit around and do nothing?" I enquired. Skyler hauled herself up then gave me a sharp nod as she strolled towards the tack.
