Yawning uncontrollably I clambered out of bed. Attempting to slide down the banister completely failed leaving me in a mess on the stairs. Breakfast contained of cereal and milk nothing more nothing less.
After 18 minutes and 43 seconds of choosing between my blue jodhpurs and my purple and baby blue jodhpurs; 6 minutes and 18 seconds of deciding between two t-shirts that look practically the same; 12 seconds of grabbing socks and underwear and 3 minutes and 31 seconds of putting them all on with my riding boots. I was ready.
When I arrived at the stable Pam, who is in her twenties came running towards me. She requested for me to ride Jack the new pony.
"Alright ," I moaned then slumped off.
Jack watched as I walked into his stable holding tack with absolutely no sign of emotion. He looked like a huge lump on the floor and I wasn't looking forward to getting on his back.
I gave myself a mental slap telling myself to stop judging a book by its cover. Maybe Jack is an amazing pony to ride I thought to myself.
Jack was all tacked up and ready to go. However I don't think going is what he wanted to do most. Trotting around were Skyler and Tasha. Smokey and Mid were going beautifully.
Jack wasn't moving I kicked and whipped but he was being so stubborn. Eventually he began to plod along the arena meaninglessly.
As we trotted along probably slower that a snail. I noticed a figure pacing up and down a fare field. Then without any time to prepare Jack gave a huge buck launching me out of the saddle. I landed with a thud on the ground.
