3 days of endless calls from the police and pet rescue place were beggining to drive me mad. My mum had looked everywhere. We'v put tons of posters up. Still no luck.
People kept trying to comfort me but it just didn't work. I'd skipped 3 days of school. It was the end of the world for me.
I'd gone on a walk hoping to find Starburst wandering about and in no pain. Unfortunately I didn't.
The fields where empty they had no meaning. Nothing had any meaning.
My gold IPhone 5s beeped. It was a text from the police. The text read...
Dear Natalie we're very sorry about that your horse is lost. We've searched endlessly all over the place. However we still haven't found her. Although we've found some people who's horse was stolen. They've looked everywhere to but still haven't found their horse. She said that their was no trace of the stealer. However they did find a piece of paper with a phone number on it. We think you should call it as they've tried and haven't had an answer. Here's the number: 57636 675276 we hope you'll find your pony very soon.First I decided to go home and ask my mother to call the number. I trudged back home making gymnastic moves to avoid the mud.
Frazzle capolted himself towards me. I threw his soggy ball outside for him to fetch. I huffed then sat down on a large bean bag.
By the counter cooking was my mum. She didn't seem her joyfull self. She also loved Starburst. I mentioned the phone number. Before I couldn't finish my blink she was dialling on her iPhone 6.
No answer. No answer. No answer. No ans....wait answer. A low growlyvoice picked up. They where breathing heavily.
"Hello" my mum said. All that returned was a few jumbled up words.
"Horse box lane house 4" the man mumured. Then he hung up without leaving anything not even his name.
