An eternal day of sitting around writing meaningless things down finished. Happiness sprinted about within me.
When I got home I grabbed my homework and began jotting things down. I blocked out the entire world and focused on that one stupid price of paper.
With homework completely out of the way I threw my riding clothes on and raced to the stable. I grabbed Starbursts head collar and jogged to her field.
Then the entire day began to fall downhill, rapidly...
As I entered the field I didn't see Starburst. I searched top to bottom, left to right. Nothing. No Starburst.
I Immediately knew why I'd had that strange sensation in the morning. After minutes if trying to calm myself down I burst towards the stable in search of my baby.
Her stable was empty. She wasn't in any of the other stables or fields. No body was riding her. The situation got worse every second.
I then hurtled myself back to the house to alert mum. She looked at me bewildered without noting me she snatched her phone out her handbag and began dialling.
Within minutes the police arrived! We told them everything.
I went to my room to let out some tears. Then I finally brought the guts to tell them about the strange figure I was seeing. I hadn't told yet because that man seemed like he didn't want me to tell.
The police began writing things down then asking occasional questions. Unfortunately the police had to leave as they needed to chase a bank robber.
I curled up into a ball and rested my head on my mothers lap. Tears streamed out of my weary eyes uncontrollably. My beloved pony was lost.
