Eight

The hotel was like nothing I've ever seen before. The bright lights shown from two blocks away and I was suddenly feeling intimidated.

How was Ashton's band afford luxuries like this!?

The Weston is the most expressive hotel in town.

"Pull up to the parking valet, they'll take the car t the garage so we can go up" Calum hummed.

Ashton followed Calum's directions with a huff of annoyance. The valet driver man

- or whatever they're called - took Astons keys with a doll like fake smile, before opening the car door for all of us.

"Thanks man" I offered but got no response.

I guess valets don't talk.

Ashton grabbed my hand again walking me to the front door.

Calum trailing behind.

This was all to much, I don't know what to do with myself. I could feel my face heating up as people's eyes trailed our way.

Ashton smiled down at me, taking in the moment.

"Good thing their aren't any fans out here" he said.

"What do you mean, why wouldn't you want to see your fans?" I wondered.

"It's not that he doesn't want to see the fans, its that he doesn't want the fans to see him with you" Calum interrupted.

"Watch what you say Hood, I thought we fucking discussed this. - Jo he doesn't know what he's saying. Its not that at all, I'm just tired."

Ashton sounded unsure and I began to wonder if what Calum said had some truth to it.

Suddenly ash was some tough guy who didn't know how to control his fist. I knew this wouldn't work out.

Just as we got outside Ashton and Calum's room, Ashton turned on his feet and went back to the elevator.

"Where you going?" I called after him

"Getting another room that I can sleep in."

"Oh no Ash! I'll get it of you want; I can't let you sleep there. I will."

"No I need some time by myself to think about things."

The elevator opened and Ashton got in and pressed the button.

I turned to Calum who had just opened the door.

"Ladies first." Calum said but it came out more as a question.

I walked in as Calum followed behind. The first thing I noticed was a red haired boy facing the huge TV in the room, with a flat haired blonde boy on top of him.

Michael and Luke right?

"Michael I thought I told you to go to sleep or you'll be wreaked in the morning."

Calum sighed as the red haired boy turned to face us.

"But I just got the DLC pack of Outlast Cal and Luke fell asleep on me."

Hey I got their names right!

"Who's that Calum? Fuck buddie?"

Michael smirked as Calum, and I went as red as Michael's hair.

"No she's - no! She's a uh..." Calum stuttered the words.

I let myself into the conversation before it got any worse

"Im Ashton's friend."

"Where's Ash then?"

Boy he asks lot of questions.

"He's getting another room for Jo."

"Who's Jo?"

"Me. Hi!"

Calum walked towards the fridge in the room before offering me something to eat. I quickly denied and walked over to an arm chair and sat myself down.

"So Outlast huh?" I asked glancing over to the TV screen.

"Yep. You play?"

"Uh yeah!"

Outlast was my favourite game and always will be. I was excited to play the DLC pack, but I hadn't got it yet.

"Do you wanna play? I gotta talk to Calum." Michael handed me the XBox controllers and got up from underneath Luke.

As I was playing, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Luke had woken.

"Who are you?"

"Jo."

"Im tired Jo."

"Then go to sleep."

He shut his eyes again and felt back to sleep.

Michael's POV

I walked over to Calum's bedroom and walked in to it.

"Hey guys! I know I haven't made a video in a while but I just wanna thank everyone whose gotten the album and wamwesia. We love you by." Calum said into his phone. He pressed a few buttons before he put his phone down.

"You okay?"

I nodded in return and sat down on his bed.

"Okay I know that this Jo girl is more than a friend to someone in the band. No one bring a girl back with them at like 5 am unless its a hookup or you like 'em. It's not what friends do. Wether it's you or Ash- i don't know. But just please tell me."

"Ash got locked in a store as me and him were song writing and Jo got locked in with him. I guess one thing led to another and Ash likes her. I could be wrong but I don't think I am"

Great. Guess may I can't like her then.

"Fuck....this is just great." I sighed

"Why?"

"Because she looks like that-and she seems like the type of person who I'd love. And just while I was playing and she was watching, we - we were talking and we just - it's hard to explain. We just clicked. It felt right. And you know how I believe in love at first sight Calum."

And I did. It felt right in that moment to say that I did.
