“Hello?” Brianna asked answering the phone.

“What’s up Muhammad Ali?”

“Mane that shit ain’t funny. That bitch sent the fucking police to my mama job”.

“What?” Nadia asked shocked.

“Talking about I was rude with her from the jump, and when she told me to leave I hit her”.

“What she even call the police for if she know she hit you first?”

“I don’t know, but my mama pissed at me, because she got in trouble at work”.

“Did they fire her?”

“They gave her a warning”.

“Did Ray call you?”

“Earlier before I went to my mom’s job, why?”

“She told me she was gonna call and check on you. She not answering her phone, but I was just asking”.

“I don’t see why she can’t answer the phone, she don’t have nothing else to do”, Brianna said laughing.

“Hmmm. She probably with JG. Jamie told me they was hugged up at the park”.

“About time!” Brianna yelled.

“About time, what? For her to get played? He just want to hit”.

“Maybe she just want to hit too”, Brianna said laughing, “But for real, why you always hating on JG?”

“Ain’t nobody hating on his tired ass!”

“You like him”, Brianna said.

“No I don’t.

“She said you was begging the niggah to let you back in though”, Nadia said changing the subject quickly.

“I wasn’t begging. I was just trying to talk it out with him, and he slammed the door in my face. I can’t get mad at him though”.

“He cheated on you, you have the right to be mad!”

“But I shouldn’t have ran up in his house like that, he was so pissed at me”.

“So?! Did he care that you was pissed that he cheated on you?”

“He said he didn’t get with her, and I didn’t have no business believing that chicken head over my man in the first place”.

“Girl stop, that girl ain’t got no reason to lie! If he fucked her, then he fucked her. Move on to the next nigga”.

“He didn’t get with that girl, she was lying. She just want him for herself”.

“You’ll believe anything that niggah say. Ain’t no way I will act this crazy over no niggah”, Nadia said.

“Whatever, tell me that shit when you get a niggah”, Brianna said hanging up.

“Brianna!”

“Huh?!” she asked answering her mom.

Her mother never answered, so she knew her mom wanted her to come here.

“Don’t answer me no damned ‘Huh’, and somebody at the door for you”, her mother said walking into the back, “And lock my door when you’re finished!”

When Brianna opened the door, Ced was on the porch.

“Hey”, she said hugging him.

“Whassup?” he asked walking in the house.

“I’m sorry baby, I shouldn’t have believed her. I was just upset, and I had just got into a fight-”

“With who?”

“When I got to practice, Ms. Bryant was like run five laps, because you were late. I wasn’t feeling it, and she gave me seven. So Raven come in later than me, and she told Raven to go stretch. I was like, that’s not fair. So she got all buck, and I got buck too. She slapped me and I beat her ass. So, Ashleigh wanted to pop off at the mouth. Raven got in between us, and she snuck Raven. I beat her ass too”, she said walking towards her bedroom.

“You stupid as fuck for doing that shit”, he said following her.

“Whatever. I’m not backing down to nobody. If they want to talk shit like they big and bad, then they better be ready to throw down”, she said sitting on her bed when she made it into her room.

“That’s still stupid. Fighting ain’t cute. You fuck your face up, then what else you have going for yourself?”

“Can you stop with all that? I don’t need you lecturing me”, she said.

“Well I’ma just be out, because you don’t need me at all”, he said walking towards the door.

“Baby wait”, she said running behind him, “Don’t leave”, she said grabbing his arm.

“What I’m staying for?” he asked.

“This”, she said kissing him and pulling him back into the room. When they were in the room, she closed the door and locked it.

“Yo, your moms is in here”, he said.

“She’s knocked out by now”, she said pushing him on the bed.

“Mane you wild as fuck”, he said laughing as she took off her clothes.
