Chapter 22

"Kenny just let me help you", Bri said trying to put the ice pack on his eye. It was swollen shut.

"None of this shit wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you! You fucking up my plan!" He said grabbing the ice pack and throwing it across the room.

"Kenny calm down!" Bri said scared.

"Don't fucking tell me to calm down. You trying to clean me up, go look at your fucking self in the mirror. Your shit is about as worse as mine!" He yelled looking at her in disgust.

If it wasn't for her, no one would know he was alive. If it wasn't for her, JG and Tony would have never found him. At least not until he was ready to be found.

When he pulled the gun out on JG, Tony flashed out. He pushed open the door on Kenny, causing him to fall. Then he got out and started kicking him. The whole time yelling, "We your fucking family boy! We all we got!" JG got out and pushed Tony off of him. He brought Little Kenny on his feet before knocking him back down with a hard punch. "Nigga you gone pull a gun out on me?! Over this bitch?! Fuck you!" JG yelled punching him again. JG kept standing him up only to knock him back down. JG didn't stop until he knocked Little Kenny out.

"Stop!" Bri screamed repeatedly.

"Let's go J!" Tony yelled hopping in the car, "Tell my little brother we'll be back when he comes to", Tony said speeding off with JG barely in the car.

"I didn't force you to do all that shit for me!" Bri yelled.

"Mane-" Kenny stopped, interrupted by a loud knock. "Yo, who the fuck is that?"

"Tony said they were coming back", Bri said.

"Fine time to fucking tell me!" Kenny yelled snatching the door open. Only to be tackled down by the police.

"Kendrick Roberts, you are under arrest for the rape of Nadia Mitchell", the first officer said while handcuffing him.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you can not afford one, one will be appointed to you. You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements", he said snatching Kenny up from the floor.

"Bri, call Tony!" Kenny yelled as they shoved him into the back of the car.

Bri sat confused. Why would he want her to call Tony when they just beat his ass. When he didn't even want them to know he was alive. How did they know it was Kenny? Did they know I was involved? If so, then I would have been in jail too. How does he expect me to call Tony when I don't even know their numbers? Ray!

"Damn, I don't have my phone!" She yelled. She looked around the room and she saw Kenny's phone on the floor.

"Hello?" Raven answered.

"Ray?" Bri asked, making sure she dialed the right number.

"Bri? What the hell?" Raven asked.

"Don't hang up! Where's Tony?" Bri asked.

"Why?" Raven asked.

"Ray, it's important! I need to speak with Tony!" Bri yelled frustrated.

"Fuck you bitch! I don't owe you shit! You lucky you're still walking!" Raven said hanging up.

"Damn", Bri said stuck. Kenny's keys were there, but she didn't even know where she was. So she just sat and waited for Tony to come back. She ended up falling asleep on the couch.

"Wake your ass up!" JG said kneeing Bri.

"What the hell?" Bri said surprised. She opened her eyes and realized it was daylight outside.

"Where the hell is my brother?" Tony asked.

"He's in jail", Bri said.

"What?" Both Tony and JG asked at the same time.

"Last night, a little after y'all left. They came knocking at the door. We thought it was y'all, but it was the police", Bri said.

"Arresting him for what?!" Tony asked.

"Raping Nadia", Bri said.

"How they know that shit?" JG asked.

"Let me find out you ratted my little brother out, and you might not make it home next time", JG said pointing his finger at Bri.

"It's crazy how you set me up once you found out I had something to do with Nadia getting raped, but you find out your brother was the rapist and you don't do shit?!" Bri yelled, "what's your motive? What part do you play in all this? Whose side are you really on?" Bri asked.

"Family over everything bitch, some shit you don't know nothing about!"

"Oh, like when you left Kenny for dead in that house when yall were little? You ran like a little bitch!" Bri said, upset that JG questioned her loyalty to Kenny.

"Bitch", JG said choking Bri, " You don't know shit about what happened. I was a fucking kid. But I ain't gotta explain shit to you. You the reason he in this shit now", he said tossing her on the couch.

"I didn't force him to rape Nadi!" Bri yelled.

"You might as well have", Tony said walking away, "Come on Jay", he said exiting the house with JG right behind him.
