Chapter 18

"Hello?" Bri asked answering her phone.

"Bri, Nadi at county. She got raped on the way home from school yesterday", Raven said getting straight to the point.

"What? Where are you?" Bri asked.

"I'm just leaving the police station, They wanted me to give a statement," Raven said.

"I'm so confused", Bri said.

"She said the guy had a scorpion tattooed on his neck, it had to be Jason", Raven said.

"Shit, Ray I'll call you right back", Bri said hanging up.

"Kenny it worked! They think it's Jason. All you have to do is figure out how to get this shit off your neck", she said referring to his fake scorpion tattoo.

"Damn, ma", he said passing her the blunt, " you a cold hearted bitch. And you right we need to figure out how to get this shit off my neck, before twelve pick my ass up", he said rubbing his neck.

"Just wipe it with peroxide dumb ass", she said giving him a stupid look, "I can't believe I finally got this bitch! She must think I'm stupid. Broke bum ass bitch!"

"Yo what she do to you anyway?"he asked still wiping his neck as if it will disappear.

"I thought the bitch was my friend she been lying to my face for years, behind my back fucking my boyfriend. She had the nerve to get pregnant, and come telling me she a virgin. Bitch ain't no more a virgin than your mama", she said laughing.

"Aye, I'm gone put your ass out my car talking about my mama", he said snatching the blunt back.

"Boy we all know your mama be turning tricks. Get over it", Bri said laughing.

"Fuck you bitch", he said laughing with her.

"Lemme take my ass down here and check on this bitch so I won't seem suspect", Bri said hinting for Kenny to take her there.

"Bitch you better get to walking, Ian going nowhere with this shit still on my neck" he said unlocking the door for her.

"I hate you", Bri said stepping out of his car. She headed into her house.

When she got inside she called Raven back. Her phone was still on the call ended screen.

"What's up?" Raven answered.

"I can't even find a ride up there, my mama took her truck to work with her", Bri complained.

"Well, me and Jarius going back up there in a couple of hours", Raven said.

"Okay and?" Bri asked.

"I guess you can ride with us. Hell, don't catch no attitude and I'm trying to help your ass out", Raven said hanging up.

"Bitch!" Bri yelled at a blank phone screen.

A couple of hours later, Bri heard someone blowing outside.

She grabbed her things and left with Raven and JG.

"What's up yall?" She asked climbing into the backseat.

"Shit", JG said.

"Ray?" Bri asked after getting no reply.

"Oh, nothing", she said laughing it off, " Girl I was in a whole other world", Raven said.

Bri just laughed it off.

They had been riding for at least 20 minutes, but the hospital was on the other side of town.

"JG where the hell you taking us?" Bri asked.

"I have some business to take care of before we go", he said never turning around.

"Girl just sit your ass back and ride", Raven said irritated.

"Fuck you bitch", Bri said shocked by Raven's bluntness .

They pulled up to this abandoned building. JG and Raven both opened their doors and got out.

"Bitch come on here", Raven said.

"Nah, I'll stay in the car", Bri said.

"Okay then, when somebody come and snatch your ass up don't holler for us", Raven said walking off.

Bri instantly got out the car and caught up with Raven and JG.

"What kinda business your man taking care of here", Bri asked.

They had entered the building and walked to a back room.

"The kind that's gone end with you fucked up for setting my sister up bitch", Jamian said coming from behind her and hitting her over the head.

"Tie her ass up!" Roshad yelled.

Darius and Calvin immediately grabbed Bri off the ground and took her into the back room. JG picked her phone up from the floor and grabbed Ravens arm.

"Let's go babe", he said.
