"Mane, Ray come on here", JG said to Raven who was standing with Nadia talking, while he was waiting at his car.

"Can you give Nadia a ride home, because we always catch the bus together", Raven asked.

"Ray I can take the bus. I don't want to ride with him", Nadia said quickly.

"Well I don't want you in my shit either", He replied.

"Y'all chill out. You not riding the bus by yourself, so come on. She live right around the street JG, it's not far", Raven said walking off, "Come on girl!" She yelled back at Nadia.

When everyone was seated in the car, JG started the car and drove off.

"Yo, you hungry?" he asked Raven.

"No, but I'm sleepy", she said leaning on the door.

"You should have stayed home from school, and just waited until tomorrow to go to school", He said pulling into Nadia's neighbor hood.

"Naw, she ain't trying to be a drop out like your ass", Nadia said.

"Don't say anything", Raven said to JG.

He sighed loudly and said, "I'm cool".

He pulled up at the end of Nadia's driveway, and stopped the car.

"Bye Ray", Nadia said getting out of the car.

"Wait a minute", Raven told JG before getting out of the car and following Nadia.

"What's up?" Nadia asked turning around.

"That's what I was going to ask you. Why you keep tripping on him like that? He gave your ass a ride home. The least you could have done is thanked him", Raven replied.

"I didn't want to ride with him in the first place. You made me!"

"Would you have made it home this fast on the bus?"

"I would have been more comfortable on a bus full of strangers".

"What is your problem Nadi? And don't give me that bullshit about him being a player, because it's getting old, okay!"Raven yelled frustrated.

Nadia didn't reply, but looked off. She wanted to look anywhere but Raven's face, knowing she wouldn't be able to withhold the truth.

"Nadia I'm really getting tired of being a referee between you two, and he's not the one starting the fights", Raven said.

"Fine, I won't say anything else to him or about him", Nadia said.

"I just want to know what your problem is with him. I've never seen him do anything to you, and you've never told me anything he has actually done for you to hate him so much".

"I just don't want you to get hurt Ray", Nadia said hoping Raven would drop it.

"Nadia I've known Jaron since we were little. He would never hurt me", Raven said.

"Do you really think that?" Nadia asked.

"No, I know that. Nadia fill me in on what you know, because obviously it's bothering you", Raven replied.

"It's nothing Ray, really", Nadia tried assuring her.

"Stop lying to me, and tell me the damn truth Nadia!" Raven yelled.

"Okay, we did it", Nadia said pausing, "he left me there and pretended as though it never happened. That's why I hate him, okay? He played me", Nadia said putting her head down.

"Unbelievable", Raven said, "Un-fucking-believable", She said walking off and getting into the car.

"What's up? What was that all about?" JG asked when Raven got into the car.

"Nothing", she said barely above a whisper.

They drove the rest of the way home in silence. He parked into the driveway, and got out to open her door for her. But before he even closed his door, she had slammed her door, and was walking into the house.

He stood there, puzzled for a second, before walking into the house.

"Hey Brit", He said walking past the kitchen.

"Come here", she said to him.

"What's up?" he asked walking back up the hall.

"What's wrong with Raven?"

"I don't know. That's what I was about to go and figure out", he said walking to his room.

When he turned the knob the door was locked.

"Yo, Ray open up the door!" He yelled, "How you gone lock me out of my own room?"

The door swung open, and she pushed him out of the way rushing up the hall, but not before he grabbed her arm and pulled her into the room.

"What's your problem?" he practically yelled, irritated by her childish behavior.

"You know my fucking problem!" she yelled, tears running down her face.

"Yo, calm your nerves. Tell me what I did", he said walking closer to her.

"I can' t believe you! All of this time you been trying to get with me, you been fucking my bestfriend?"

"What the fuck? Yo, what'd that girl tell you?"

"The truth! Something you've lacked telling me!" She yelled trying to get past him.

He grabbed her by her shoulders and pushed her on the bed.

"Mane I ain't fucking that girl. I got with her one time a while back at a party. I was drunk, and she was too. It was just a fuck, she caught feelings and I didn't, end of story", he said.

"And I'm supposed to believe that?"

"It's the truth! It's up to you to believe it or not. You'll believe anything that broad say, and you've only known her like four years. You've known me your entire life!" he yelled.

"You still didn't tell me about it!" she yelled.

"It was nothing to tell! I was drunk, I fucked her, and I was single".

He waited for a response, but never got one. She put her head in her hands, and continued to cry silently.

"Yo, I'm out", he said walking out of the room. He stopped at the door, "And tell Nadia next time she got something to say about me, tell the whole truth, and not her own fucking sob story. You know what? I'll tell her my damned self", he said slamming the room door.

She rushed out of the room and caught his arm in the hallway, "You don't have to worry about saying anything else to me if you go over to her house".

"Why would you care whose house I went to anyway? It's not like you want me here", he said pulling away from her.
