I touch the purple bruise on my eye and wince. Damn it this thing is gross. "Ow." I mumble as I touch it once more. How long am I going to have this? I walk out my bathroom and run my fingers through my hair.

Lottie is upstairs in the lounge with her friend Eleanor. It was oddly weird how she somehow invited herself to the house. I'm not quite sure how it happened, I saw her mouth moving but I did not process any of her words. I kept starring at Ella who climbed onto Zayn's motorcycle and sped off.

I walked down the stairs to the kitchen to grab a snack. I spot my mum preparing a tray of food. There's chips, soda, cookies, and popcorn. "Who's that for?" I ask my mum as I open the fridge door, only to scan it for a few seconds and close it.

"For Lottie and her friend." She beams. Oh duh. "Be a dear and take this up to them Louis."

"Mum n-"

"Come on Louis. I have to prepare dinner very soon. we're having guests over, just do this for me." She doesn't give me the chance to respond and just hands me the heavy tray and kisses me on the cheek. I slightly groan and stalk up the stairs. Nate should of put the lounge on the first floor. Stupid Nate. The big white door is slightly opened but I can hear both of them talking.

"She did that?" I hear Lottie gasp.

"Yeah. Come on have you seen her. She thinks she's the shit, when really she's not." Eleanor says. Who are they talking about? Is it Ella? I shouldn't be eavesdropping. "This one time she came to English class completely stoned out. The only reason she doesn't get kicked out is because of her daddy. Her daddy is-" I've heard enough and this tray is getting heavier by the second. I push open the door and the girls look up at me. "Hi Louis. Aww is that for us?" Eleanor claps her hands together.

"Uh y-yeah. M-mum." Damn it breath. "My mum told me to bring it up." I place the tray on the glass table. The girls are sitting on the white couch. The room is really huge and filled with other white couches and a big flat screen mounted up on the wall. This room can be turned to a dance floor almost like a home made club. There's even a bar, but of course the liquor is safely locked away. I begin to walk away when Eleanor grabs a hold of my hand. "You should stay. Come have some fun Lou." I stare at her hand that's holding mine and I look to her. Why is she holding my hand?

"U-uh n-no I'm f-fine." I pull away. Wait did she call me Lou?

"Aww please for me?" She pouts. I glance over to Lottie who is eating some of the popcorn and she shrugs.

"F-fine."

"It's cute when you stutter." She says and literally drags me to sit next to her on the couch. I feel very uncomfortable. "So tell me about yourself." She bats her eyelashes and leans closer to me. I try to scoot away but I'm already at the edge of the couch.

"Uh w-well I-I'm-"

"He's 17 turning 18 in December, he's favorite color is red. He is shy and he likes to play football."

"Lottie." I exclaim. I feel my cheeks burning.

"What you stutter a lot. I just did you a favor you take forever to talk." She rolls her eyes. She pops another piece of popcorn into her mouth. I get up and walk out of the room. It's hard enough to talk to people and Lottie had to go embarrass me like that. I run down the stairs to the second level and lock myself in my room.

Mum told us to dress decent and come down for dinner. I just dressed in a casual black buttoned up shirt and black slacks. I didn't know who was coming over and I just hoped they wouldn't talk to me.

When I walk down to the kitchen my mum is dressed in a in a sleek navy blue dress and high heels. Her make up is nicely done and her hair is in loose curls.
