A/N Trigger warning, this chapter goes into physical abuse and I suggest you skip over it if your not comfortable reading about it.
"Dad?"
I immediately step in front of my mum and Lottie trying to create a barrier between them and him. "What are you doing here?" I seethe. I never would of thought I would be seeing this man in my life ever again. "How did you find us?"
"Lou-"
"You need to leave." I tell him.
"I'm not leaving damn it!" He shouts and throws the kitchen chair across the wall making a loud thud. I flinch and memories flood back.
*Flashback*
"Shh Lottie, it's okay." I wrap my tiny arms around my baby sister as she cries. We're both hiding under the table while the fighting and shouting is going on.
"Mummy." She cries. "Daddy urt her." She asks as she sniffles.
"Why are you such a bitch!" Daddy yells. He always uses mean words when he drinks the funny smelling stuff.
"You have to calm down, the kids are going to hear you." Mummy says to daddy.
"You think I give a fuck what they think? You should be more concerned on they must think of you. Why the hell did you come home so late?!" He shouts.
"I-I told you. I had to work over time to help pay for the bills."
"Why are you lying?!" We hear the sound of daddy's hand hitting mummy. A sound we almost hear everyday.
"Your drunk and you need to go to bed." I hear mummy whimper.
"Don't tell me what to do whore!" He kicks the chair and it falls to the floor, scaring Lottie and I.
"Lou." Lottie whimpers. "I scared."
"Stop it!." Mummy cries. Mummy then falls onto the floor and we can both see that mummy's face has another boo boo.
"No!." Lottie runs out from under the table and I chase after her. She pushes daddy and Lottie falls to the floor.
"Don't push her!." I yell at daddy. And all he does is hit me and I fall to the floor and I begin to cry. Mummy crawls over to us and cradles us.
"Why do you always make me hurt you! Why?!" He shouts and takes a sip from his icky juice. "I don't want to hurt you but you make me, this is all your fault."
"I-I I'm sorry." Mummy says. Daddy walks over and grabs mummy by her hair. And mummy lets out a scream.
"No!" Lottie and I begin to screams as we watch daddy hurt mummy again.
*End Of Flashback*
I remember that day clearly, I was just five years old and Lottie was just a year old. She was barely learning how to talk.
"Leave!." I shout again. Maybe it's the alcohol that is still coursing through my veins that is giving me the courage to stand up to my father. "Leave before I call the cops." I warn him. I begin to dig into my pocket to retrieve it but find that it's dead. Great. Just freaking great.
"Just listen." He begins to to say but I am not up to it. I don't want to hear what this worthless coward has to say.
"No." I turn to look at my mother who is crying and is rubbing her cheek. I can see the red mark she has.
He hit her.
"Don't you ever touch my mother again." I shout and push him.
"She deserved it, she's always been a stupid bitch." He sneers. "And what, standing up to me makes you think your a man?" He scoffs. "I just came to get my family back."
