When I get home my mum gasps and takes a look at my hand. I'm not even sure how I am going to get out of this one. There's a deep scowl on her face and her eyebrows are knitted together. "Louis what happened?" She waits patiently for me to answer, but truthfully I don't know what to say. "Louis are you being harassed at school?" She suddenly asks me. I glance up to look at her and concerns fills her eyes. I avert my eyes and look at the ground.

"No. It was just an accident." I say in a low voice.

"Louis." She exhales, she runs her hands through her hair and sighs one more time. "Louis if somebody is bothering at school, you got to tell me. I could go down there and fix everything." I don't need  my mum fixing things for me. People already see me as a wimp and a complete loser. Add my mum marching down there to try to "fix" my problem is just going to make everything so much worse.

"No mum nobody is bothering me at school. I'm fine." I walk past her and up to my room. I'm almost eighteen for god sake's I don't need mummy trying to protect me. I can handle things by myself, well at least I try to. I feel my phone vibrate from my pocket and I dig into it to retrieve it.

Unknown number; Hi Louis it's Eleanor, Lottie have me your number :)))

Unknown number; hope we're still on for lunch on Saturday :D

Unknown number; I can't wait :)

Unknown number; I'm sorry for what my brother did a again and he's a doofus lol

I sigh at all the incoming texts. You would think one text message would be enough but not for Eleanor. From the short time I've known her, she doesn't seem to stop talking. She always has something to say and sometimes it's just so exhausting. My phone vibrates again.

Unknown number; Louis?

Maybe I should reply to her. I'm not even sure if I want to go to lunch with her on Saturday. What should I do? I'm too nice of a person to say a no and I don't want to hurt her feelings. My thumbs lightly press on the screen of my phone as I reply back to her.

Me; Hi Eleanor, yeah we're still on for lunch on Saturday, and again it wasn't your fault.

I reply back to her. I should at least added a smiley face or something.

Me; :)

I just hope this lunch doesn't end up killing me or something. I got enough things to worry about. The end of the first school month is next week and soon it'll be October. It surprises me I have only been here for a couple of weeks and it feels like an eternity and so many events have happened. In roughly two weeks. My life is crazy or it's just the city of London that makes everything crazy.

Unknown number; ooh yay can't wait :*

I should probably insert her name into my contacts before I forget and I just that and set the phone down. I sit at my desk just starring at my open notebook of my unsolved maths problem. I sigh and put my head down. "Stupid maths." I mumble.

As the rest of the week goes on I haven't seen Ella not once. I'm not sure if I'm relieved or I don't know concerned or curious as to why she hasn't been at school. She did tell me to stay out of her business and I did as she told me. I don't need her yelling at me again. It's Friday so that means football try outs are being held today after school. I pondered a lot about it for that past few days and I have decide I should try out. It'll give me something to focus on and make me happy. My hand and has fairly healed and it doesn't hurt anymore. My black eye has turned to a faint color of yellow and is soon going to go away.
