Gone missing (a Jarlo fanfic)

Im not used to waking up in such a nice way. Normally, when I have panic attack or something I would be in the same spot I'd had it or even worse my mum had noticed and asked one of her maids to take me to the basement as punishment. I can't blame her. She's so... normal, raised in a rich family and told that people like me, people with disabilities or mental issues, were below her. So I can imagine she's not happy with her youngest son having both mental illnesses and a disability. It certainly came as I surprise that when I found myself opening my eyes from the seemingly never ending darkness, a warm hand is rubbing my temple. It certainly came as a surprise the warm and sweet smelling place I was in, the smell was familiar and comforting. But the biggest surprise was when I opened my eyes and was met with shining amber ones. John was sitting in his bed looking down with worry and comforting me with warm touches to my temple.

As soon as I look at him he stops and gets up, pretending like this never happened. He clears his throat and mumbles "I didn't know what to do so I called your brother... sorry I got on your phone I was worried and didn't know if I should call the ambulance or..." I smile at him then look to the door where Buster and Lucy come jumping in. Buster jumps on the bed and shows me the little pack that is kept on him. I open it and pull a small needle out. "Don't worry John you did the right thing, it was more than a panic attack, little episode." I comfort him, sticking the needle in my arm, taking a deep breath in and injecting it. I put the needle out and place it back in the pouch, I'll look after that at home. "How did you know my brother?" I ask
"I just saw the emergency contact. Ares?"
"Yeah Ares will help... um thanks John I'm really sorry" I say just as the doorbell rings which sets Lucy off. She runs into the living room, barking her head off while John answers the door. Soon Ares walks into the room and looks at me with pity in his purple eyes.

Ares to my oldest brother, oldest of all 14 of us (I know that's a lot) mum wanted a perfect ability. (Todoroki anyone?) She married dad just for his strong ability. When to people with a compatible abilities have a kid the kid gets a mix of the abilities. Or just the same as one but with more power. Sometimes people with low levels have a kid with both abilities, the kids a high level but the abilities are low. That's what mum wanted. But with two highateirs that was hard, that's why my family's so big. Why stop at me? I don't have a 'crossover ability' well I do but I don't use my lighting.

Ares got my dads ability and looks, purple eyes and hair, a strong figure and a confident smile. Ares is also broken like my dad. Ares smiles at John "thanks for looking after him!" He says pulling John into a hug. I smile "ares..."
"Right ok lets get you home." He mumbles. Ares walks over to me and picks me up with ease, just like he use to. He carries me out with buster on his heels p. "Thanks John!" He yells as he sits me in the car and opens the back door for Buster to jump in. Ares himself gets in the drivers seat and looks at me. "He's nice... a boyfriend?" A blush shows in my cheeks, ares is the only one I told I'm gay. "No! No way he's a friend"
"Sure asslo, anyway get some sleep you look like shit"

Hey so I'm really excited to be showing and creating some siblings for Arlo! And yeah in case you were wondering ares is named after the Greek god of war, my friend and I thought it was a good name for a mum to call their kid if they want them to be powerful. Anyway I love Greek names but I can't keep calling everybody a Greek god apart from Arlo cuz like that would be weird. So I'm asking you monkeys to come up with some ideas and comment them, when I introduce the siblings I'll credit you and stuff. Anygays peace out monkeys 🐒.
