Nekronix walks with Xander and Dahlia to his house. Rahim and Karin are following behind them with Shiro carrying Cain. Upon reaching the house he noticed that a large portion of the house was missing. "So he did that you say?" Nekronix asked. "Yeah, sorry." Rahim said. "It's fine. This day couldn't get much worse than it already has, and it isn't the first time my house has been smashed." He said as he snapped his fingers. The explosion that had taken place seemed to have inverted in on itself as if time was reversing. They walk in. He proceeded to his study with Xander. He noticed that all of the objects in the room were gone. "She took all of the damn enchanted items? You'd think we just got a divorce and I lost everything." Nekronix said. "Well, would you look at that? That's pretty unfortunate." Xander said. "I'm gonna kill her." He said looking at his desk with three items sitting on the table. The Hourglass, A Silver Locket, and A note. He picks up the note and proceeds to read it.
"Dear Walter, it wasn't in my intentions to take the small portions of your sister through this, but I wasn't the one to write these possessions to me. I do apologize for any damages Seth or Samsara may have caused. It was honestly wonderful to see you again, and spending the afternoon with you all, reminded me of when it was just You, me, Dom, and my brother. My reasoning for everything will be explained at the meeting tonight. I left the hourglass because I know it's you favourite out of your sister's trinkets, and I left the locket your sister left me. If you want any questions answered, she enchanted it so that she could always find me. So you could use it to find me if you're still upset. I don't mind talking about it now that everything is done. Once again I do apologize for all of this, and I'll see you tonight. --M.H.
Nekronix chuckled. "Well, that at least explains why I could repair the house. She's still the same old good girl with a conscience, and that's how she always gets me." Nekronix said to himself. "Oh my word, you fancy this stealing harlot." Xander said. "The fuck, Xander? No. The woman is practically like my sister. Hell, she's the closest thing I got to my sister." Nekronix said. "Who exactly is she?" Xander asked. "You really don't keep up with the lives of your sisters do you?" Nekronix said. "Am I supposed to know who she is?" Xander said. "Yeah, considering she was your sister's apprentice." Nekronix said as he grabbed a decanter on a table in the corner of the room, containing a bronze-coloured liquid. He flipped over two glasses and then filled them both with the liquid. "You still a scotch drinker right?" Nekronix asked handing Xander one of the glasses. "Yeah, I was under the impression that the only apprentice my sister has ever had was Dominique." Xander said. "Dominique was a joint apprentice, between Eliza and Lucian. Dom and I were orphans at the time so Lucian took us in. Eliza noticed Dom's potential and I was too young at the time. Through their tutelage Dom grew up to be one of the most notable sorceresses in the world. But as much as Eliza and Lucian were in love, they were also very competitive. So they tried to teach again, but separately, in efforts to see who was the better teacher and the reason for Dom's success. So Lucian took me on as his sole apprentice and Eliza who originally wanted to take on Maya's brother Leone, settled for her instead." Nekronix said. "Leone as in..." Xander started. "Yeah, the previous Archon of the West, before me." Nekronix said. "So she's related to the first archon to go full aetherial. Is she too secretly a nephilim like him?" Xander asked. "No, she was naturally born. But she is a shaman. The only shaman, since the death of her parents. She doesn't have access to her magic, nor her connection with ether. Must be why Dom left her amulet for her so she could at least use her magic." Nekronix said. "That is one type of magical being I've never heard of." Xander said. "It makes sense, their bloodline goes back quite far. Damn near to the beginning of time. Only one can exist in each generation." Nekronix said taking a drink of the scotch. "Wait, so what makes her so special?" Xander said laughing. "They have this thing that gets passed to the first daughter of each generation. They call it the gift. It's a type of very powerful ancestral magic source. The powers that psychics have are derived from it. To put it simply, whatever those who came before her where able to do she has sole access. To all of it. As she grew older she slowly started to lose control of it and her ancestors started taking over. So Eliza and Lucian together placed a binding seal on her gift. Leaving her with a connection with ether, but no ability to perform magic of her own." Nekronix said. "So this thieving little minx just came in and took what was hers is what you're saying." Xander said. "Yeah, which is why I can't be too mad about it." Nekronix said. "Yeah, it has nothing to do with the fact that you like her." Xander mumbled while rolling his eyes. "It's almost time for the meeting." Nekronix said looking at the clock in the room. "You plan on leaving everyone here?" Xander said looking confused. "You forget time moves slower in limbo, Xander, they'll barely even notice we're gone." Nekronix said snapping his fingers.
