And So, It Begins...

Jun is dodging the several blasts of dark energy as Morrigan continued to throw volleys of them from the sky. She then increased her speed momentarily to strike her with her sword. Jun jumped into the air to dodge the strike. She then held her hand in the direction of Morrigan. "申し分のない光のシール (Mōshibun'nonai-kō no shīru)." She said as a seal appeared in front of her hand and a ray of light fired from it. Morrigan held her sword in front of her and charged at Jun, her blade piercing through the light. "This weak bullshit means nothing to me!" Morrigan yelled as she struck Jun down. Jun crashed into the ground. Morrigan then summoned a large globule of dark energy and threw it at Jun. "Doll or not you're getting destroyed." Morrigan said.

A white cloud of smoke appeared crashing into the ground in front of Jun. Samsara came spinning out of the smoke holding out her hand as her eyes turned pitch black. Creating a barrier, the dark energy was deflected from them. "How about we have us a bit of a chat, Morrigan." Samsara said as Karin ran to check on Jun. "So, the rumours were true. You are still alive. Which would mean that Amadeus was correct when he felt Seth as well. Where is he?" Morrigan asked. "I'm afraid that's none of your business." Samsara said. "Well, I'm not one to be afraid of the likes of you. To be hiding this long you wouldn't dare risk awakening your darkness or entering your demonic form." Morrigan said. "It's not really needed to hold my own against you." Samsara said. "Be careful." Karin said. "I'll try to hold her off as long as I can. Inform Jun of what you need to so we can leave." Samsara said as she took off toward Morrigan.

"Karin? You're supposed to be with Fuurgrim." Jun said in a worried tone. "I know, but I saw you losing ground to Morrigan when she entered her celestial form. I know how her demonic form works." Karin said. "I never even knew they had one. I thought they surpassed the need for it." Jun said. "They don't enter it often, mainly because they worked so hard to regain some sort of resemblance of their former mortal selves. For the demon lords, they call theirs a Regal Form. It grants them heightened instincts and combative capabilities. It also gives them a larger power threshold. They also become immune to most non-demonic attacks or weaponry. I can help you fight with my void. I can displace her to an unknown location where she'll reside forever. As powerful as you may be, she'll still be immune to whatever you throw at her." Karin said. "Unless I imbue it with dark energy." Jun said.

Samsara crashed into the ground next to them. "So, Bel's daughter is here too? Is no one ever truly dead?" Morrigan said as she landed onto the ground. Karin quickly stood to her feet and summoned her halberd. "You won't touch her." Karin said as Jun split into the two separate dolls that laid motionless. "And what exactly are you gonna do little girl?" Morrigan said laughing. "This! Inanis est maria!" Karin said as she unwrapped her hand and summoned a vacuum from her hand. Morrigan noticed herself slowly being pulled in. She quickly impaled the ground with her sword to keep her from moving. "You will need a lot more than this light breeze to stop me." Morrigan said. "She's right, the vacuum isn't strong enough to pull her in. I can't continue to hold it for too long either. Without it trying to pull me in too." She thought to herself. "Hold your ground, Karin." A voice called out. "Who was that." Karin said. A spirit of a woman appeared beside her. The woman had long red hair in two braids tied with white ribbons. She wore a pure white ceremonial robe and her eyes were steel grey. "You are a lot stronger than you know." The spirit said. "Who are you?" Karin said. "That isn't important right now. There is a power within you that can stop the darkest of adversaries. You just don't know that part of you yet. You simply need to conduct your void's power into something bigger. Allow me to help you see what is possible." The spirit said as its eyes glowed and glanced at Jun's motionless spirit dolls. The two dolls then rise and dash to separate areas to Morrigan's left and right. The dolls then split once more into two more dolls that charged to two other areas behind Morrigan. "What is this shit?" Morrigan said. Samsara appeared standing over her. She grabbed her and stood her up restraining her. "Your end. I have her, do it now!" She said. "Focus your aura and energy into the halberd and firmly strike the ground with its hilt." The spirit said. Karin stopped the vacuum and moved the halberd to her other hand. A blue coloured aura enveloped her and she tapped the ground with it and watched the halberd glow and transform into a Khakkhara. "What the?" Karin said as the 4 other dolls also summoned a Khakkhara to their hands. "Excellent, now do it once more, but this time I will lend you my power." The spirit said as she grabbed the Khakkhara as well. She tapped the ground once more. The spirit dolls did as well. A large seal appeared on the ground in front of them with Morrigan and Samsara in the center. Samsara then throws her onto the ground and smoked toward Karin. Morrigan stood up and noticed the spirit standing next to Karin. "You little bitch, I know exactly who you are. So, you show up now? How dare you!" Morrigan said charging at them. She then runs into an invisible wall at the edge of the seal. Realizing this she began to strike at the wall, attempting to break it. "Now I want you to focus all of your power into the staff, then recite the following with conviction." The spirit said as it whispered something into Karin's ear. Karin then nodded her head and opened her eyes revealing that her irises were glowing a bright blue colour. She glared at Morrigan intensely. "邪悪な鬼よ、不純物の孤独な虚無へ！孤独な虚空の封印！ (Jaakuna oni yo, fujunbutsu no kodokuna kyomu e! Kodokuna kokū no fūin!)." Karin screamed as a large portal opened within the seal above Morrigan. "What?" Morrigan said as she noticed that the portal was a lot larger. The portal then started to pull in everything within the area. Morrigan attempted to pin herself to the ground but failed. As she saw her sword get pulled in, she glared at the spirit. "This isn't over, you hear me. I will get out of this, and when I do, I will slaughter you, the real you. Wherever you may be hiding, I will find you!" Morrigan said as she lost her footing and was pulled into the void. Upon her being pulled in the void, it immediately closed, and the seal disappeared. The spirit then turned and started to walk away. Karin turned around. "Wait, how do you know so much about me? Are you my mother?" Karin asked. The spirit smiled and walked over to her and touched her face. "Perhaps, I will tell you another time. For now, keep learning more about yourself and your powers. There is so much more to you than just a demon half, Karin. So much more. Just remember I am always watching over you, even when you think I am not." The spirit said as it dematerialized into small white lights that flew away. Karin watched as tears started to form. The glow from her eyes faded as the Khakkhara turned back into a halberd. Karin then started to faint. Samsara then caught her. They turned into a cloud of smoke and flew away.
